Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mazzkm @I’ll have to try this one out again, I don’t recall the scent. But I do know i lové most Dr. Jart products and have a few of these socked away!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mazzkm  Glad to hear this one turned out so great! There are times a mask has good enough results that I can look past the scent - I'm happy this was one of those for you!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I got the thyme or rosemary scent, but it was so over powering to me that I find I rarely reach for this one @mazzkm.  I'm glad you got good results though.  If I remember correctly I liked the results as well; I just had a hard time with how strong the fragrance was.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I'm sorry the scent wasn't working out for you on this one, @mazzkm. I can't remember if I noticed much of a scent on the last one of these I used, but now I'm curious to re-try it and see what is noticeable!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mazzkm  seems tolerable enough to enjoy the benefits. 🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yes definitely! I would buy it again, more so just a weird smell... hahah

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

A bad scent can really ruin an otherwise good mask. Sorry about the smell @mazzkm but glad it soothed your skin.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I'm with you @mazzkm I don't care much for a herbal scent, but it's still doable

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mazzkm, I agree; this mask is a nice one for soothing skin or calming redness. I don’t recall the scent on this one; too bad it was off putting for you.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

This is a nice mask, @mazzkm - I think I have it, too! Have you tried the Ceramidin one? I found that to be even more moisturizing than this one.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I haven’t tried the Ceremidin Mask yet, but I have a whole tube of the moisturizer. Unfortunately it causes me to breakout! The worst part is that I actually love the moisturizer, it is amazing for getting rid of dry patches and soothing sensitive skin. Haha now I just keep it for emergencies 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Oooh, that looks like a great mask to combat Canadian winters, @mazzkm!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Holy Snails!! 🐌🐌

My snail themed masking could fit  all of last week's challenge themes (Go To masks for a special occasion) as well as all of this week's challenge themes - H, S and 'gross' masks. My snail themed masking could fit  all of last week's challenge themes (Go To masks for a special occasion) as well as all of this week's challenge themes - H, S and 'gross' masks.

Snails from head to toe! 🐌 Woo-whee! 🙌🏼  The only thing missing was a snail mucin based lip balm. 😳 I know, I initially cringed a bit at the thought as well. Alas, not a part of this snail themed masking sesh, but it doesn't mean it won't be part of a future masking session, especially as I've found one. 😉 It may or may not be en route ... 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've used the La'Dor Keratin Power Glue before and liked it a lot; it'll be a repurchase once I've made a dent in all my hair masks which means it probably won't be something I pick up this year. Hahaha! 😂 Yeah, I have a lot of hair mask; shocking isn't it?! 😲😆 I'm in the same situation with the hand and foot masks. Once I get through the ones currently in my stash, I'd be happy to pick up more of the It's Skin Prestige Gold Foil Hand Masque D'Escargot and the TonyMoly Intense Care Snail Foot Mask. As for the face and eye masks ...

It's Skin Prestige Essence Masque D'Escargot and It's Skin Prestige Eye Masque EX D'Escargot

Spoiler
The Details: 2-step snail mask, with hydrogel eye patches as step 1 and a super thin cotton face mask as step 2, with a super subtle fresh and clean signature sheet mask scent. 😉

What Worked: Hard to beat the results with these two masks - soft, smooth, bright and nicely moisturized skin.

Areas for Improvement: The fit of the hydrogel under eye patches were nice; it be great if these were sold in a jar of 30 pairs. The fit of the face mask was typical of most sheet masks for me - too long at the chin and too wide at the sides with too narrow holes for the eyes and mouth - but if I were to pick an area for improvement, fit would be one area and the other would be to reduce the stickiness level of the essence, though it probably makes the sheet mask great for use before makeup application.

Repurchase?: Absolutely.

My Two Cents: I like to use both steps simultaneously, layering the under eye patches beneath the face mask. The masks would be a great mask to use before a special occasion and before makeup application.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi should have known you would go all out with a snail theme. love that you just go for it. the sheet mask eye gel looks good; I'll have to see about finding it.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

My snail mask guru you are @itsfi ! I remember you introducing me to them last year and I instantly fell in love. I’m super curious about the snail mucin lip balm!! A little grossed out.... but I’m not saying it would stop me if you gave it a decent review either!! Lol, please let us know what you think!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  Gotta love a snail masking session! You gave me that It's Skin face/eye mask duo and I LOVED it! Glad to hear they'll be a repurchase for you! 🐌🙌 Oh, and I'd totally try out out some snail balm! Have you seen it  before?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

The duo pack is very good @Shosh85! 💖 It’s got me wondering whether the face mask and under eye gels that It’s Skin carries in its D’escargot line is the same as the ones in this duo pack just packaged separately. Hmmm... 🤔 I think I may have found myself something new to look into. 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

How would you compare the TM foot mask to say the Sephora brand masks, @itsfi? I love a good moisturizing foot mask but haven't tried these yet. Also- while it may sound totally weird, I might be down for trying a snail-based lip balm LOL.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork, the final results are the same from these snail foot masks and the ones from Sephora - my feet feel soft and moisturized. But I noticed that after removing the mask, these snail ones felt stickier when I massaged the essence that remained into my feet. It’s fine with me because I put on a pair of socks over my feet after these masks before going to bed but there is more of a sticky / tacky feel to these snail ones that I don’t recall having with any version of the Sephora Collection foot masks.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Good to know, @itsfi. I'm thinking the stickiness wouldn't be too bad for me since, like you, I tend to go the sock route after a nice foot mask. I'll have to look into these- thanks!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  wow that's a lot of snail masks. They all sound so lovely
