Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@Samtian first off, I'm so happy to see you on this thread!!! Second, I don't know if I've tried that particular VS mask,, you're making me think it could of been expired

@lmaster Thank you! Probably. These don't have any dates on them. I think I bought it last year or the end of 2018 when the Pink line came out with their sheet masks. But I read masks are a general rule of thumb are usually good for three years so they would still be good, unless that changed haha. But who knows.

@Samtian  There is a site you can use to check dates, called checkfresh(dot)com. You just select the correct brand and enter the batch code that's stamped on the back of the mask - it'll tell you when the mask was produced/manufactured. I did mine for example: 👇

My mask was manufactured Nov. 2018, so the expiration date is Nov. 2021 😉

@Samtian I really like VS masks,, hopefully it was just a fluke and the scent is from a certain ingredient, 🤷 do you have anymore of this one?

S is for Shake & Shot

Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Mask – Brightening

This comes with two packets and a spatula. One packet has an orange-y fruity scented liquid (the luminous shot) and the other has what pretty much looks like white snot (the rubber.) You are supposed two dump the two packets into the cup it comes in, put the lid on, and while plugging the hole at the top with your finger you shake it all up. I shook it only a few times, when I heard the sloshing sound it was making had stopped. I opened it up and it appeared to have mixed pretty well. I used the spatula and spread a thick layer on my face – and was able to use up the whole thing. I still think the baby face on the top was a bad idea, (not only because it's creepy😂) but because it makes it hard to scrape the mask off of after you've shaken it up.

It had a comfortable and slightly cool feel the entire time – about 20 minutes before it set up. It was easy and painless to remove. My face looked a little brighter/less dull, felt hydrated, and my skin felt very soft and smooth.

This one had nice results and is probably the easiest mixing-type of masks I've used. I'd use it again if I had it but wouldn't repurchase, only because mix-it-yourself masks just aren't my favorite - they're fun, but they're also messy and I just don't usually have a lot of time for them.

The masks always look so interesting but the face does kinda creep me out @Shosh85. And yeah, I'm a lazy masker and that does seem like a bit of work to mask.

@Loretta55  Haha! A Milkshake sounds delicious! As far as mixing goes, this really is the easiest/laziest I've done - I like that I didn't have to mix by hand and instead could just shake it all together. Even though it's easier than any rubber mask I've used, it's definitely not the kind of mask I could do on a regular basis. 😬

I feel like I have this exact mask somewhere @Shosh85 ... but where did I put it??? I'm gonna go look.  I feel like I could try a mix mask tomorrow if I find it.  And I agree... that face is kinda creepy, I get the association with a baby face could be good for a mask... but this face is just a no.
