Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1

Yay for 4 in a row @missjeanie! 🙌🏼 The masks from that Annie’s Way line are so good! 💙 I’m happy to hear the Skinfood Strawberry mask is a love for you as well! It’s definitely one of my favorite masks ♥️♥️

Both really are so delightful @itsfi !  I'm a fan of all of the skin food and all of the Annie's way that I've tried.  I feel like the masking thread really expanded the brands I have in my collection.

S and H are for Soothing and Hylauronic Acid. This is an unscented stretchy mask with a clear thin and slick serum containing collagen, Witch hazel allantoin and hylauronic acid.  It’s such a simple yet pleasurable mask.  I recall not being impressed with it for whatever reason in the past but i’m liking it a lot today.  B+

@missjeanie  It is a good one.  Ha, leaving the palette closet open helps to encourage me to mask and wear eyeshadow though it is nice to close the door and pretend I’m not a makeup hoarder.  😏

I see that placenta essence lip balm again. Hmmm, maybe this year will be the year I try something similar. 🤔

@itsfi   It’s really nice and is getting low to the point it may be in my May empties.  I sure hope we’re able to go back to Japan by November so I can restock.  I’ve taken going back for granted up til now.

Hahaha @Samtian! 😂🤣🤣 When I was working on these avocado masks and putting my thoughts together, I literally thought “@samtian is definitely not going to be a fan!” 😆  Oh samtian, it’s avocaDO! 🥑

Now that's a theme @itsfi ! Love all the avocado goodness.  I have a few Kiehl's masks and I think one is the avocado, but I haven't pulled them out to open yet.  Thanks for heads up on the messiness, I would 100% get it everywhere.

@missjeanie, yay for the avocado! 🥑 I think I may have a solution to make the Kiehl’s avocado mask work without too much extra work. 🤞🏼 We shall see. Stay tuned...

@itsfi I was very excited at first with the kiehls avacado mask,,, unfortunately the more I used it,,, the more I couldn't stand the texture and mess. I wish it would spread more easily

That’s where I think I will end up @lmaster. Right now, the hydrating and moisturizing aspect of the mask is keeping me interested 😃 but I know I’m not going to like how challenging it will be everytime I use it to get it to spread without making a mess of things. 😞 This is one I think would be an ideal candidate for reformulation. 💡 If the texture were a little creamier it could work nicely, I think. 🤔 I’ll play around with it to see if I can get it to apply easier.
