Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

@lmaster  This was the first Candy O' Lady mask I ever used and was really hoping I'd see it pop up at TJ Maxx when the others came in. Definitely will be a repurchase, just not a "jump up and get right now" kind of repurchase. 😉

This was the first Candy O’Lady Mask I tried, @Shosh85 and I seem to recall the slightly lemon-cleanser scent. That’s great you are willing to seek more out, sounds like it would be a great makeup prep mask!

@eshoe  This was actually my first Candy O' Lady mask too! 🍋 I had to use this one up because it was getting close to expiration. I know a lot of people wouldn't like the tack, but that, along with the brightening and hydration seemed like a perfect combo for a morning primer mask! 👍😃

@l8totheparty  Haha! Yeah, there was definitely some long lasting tackiness, but that never really bothers me. I could have easily put some moisturizer on to get rid of the tack, but I wanted to test and see how long it'd last... for experimental and educational purposes 😉

@Shosh85 I love the packaging on these masks but wasn’t too impressed with them.  I still have a few kicking around for filler days.  I’m glad you saw some results with them though!

@heartsmyface  I'd say I saw good results with 2 out of the 4 I've tried and the others were fine, just kinda meh. They definitely have some fun packaging! 😃

I'm glad you liked this one @Shosh85!  I feel like I might have a couple from this brand in my stash that were gifted to me, so now I feel like I need to go and check.  The problem with having so many masks is you can't always remember what you have and what you don't have.  I likely add it to my "future buys" list for when I am allowed to purchase more masks.  😉

I told myself after I broke my no buy that I’m on a mask no buy starting after the Lunar New Year @mrsmouse! Hahahaha! 😂🤣😂 This happens literally every year because it’s just so convenient for masking my failure to keep my no buys at the first of the year. 😝

Haha!! Yeah, I kinda broke my no buy this past weekend too @itsfi.  I saw two It's Skin masks which I hadn't seen before.  I am not familiar with the brand at all, but the boxes seemed to be a little more high end-ish, the expiration dates were 2022, and the ingredients seemed pretty good, so I went ahead.  If we're moving it to Lunar New Year, I have 4 more days, right?  😉

Perfect @itsfi!  I have done a good job of cutting down on my mask purchases, but I know myself well enough to realize that stopping altogether isn't going to happen.  😉

Maybe I should take a cue from you, @itsfi! Found some fantastic deals on Masksheets last night and spent waaaaaaay too long browsing. You know, past the point of ‘just wanna see what’s out there’ to ‘yes, yes, but I really need these masks in my life😂

Go the Lunar New Year resolutions route @eshoe!!!! 😆 I’m not very discreet with my enabling, am I? Hahaha! 😂🤣😂 There’s just always a host of good deals on sheet masks (and other Asian beauty treats) during the LNY holiday. 😍 You really do need them in your life, e! 😉 🛍

Is it just me or masks just seem to come out at this time... I kinda remember wanting other stuff last year around this time as well. Good call to do it after Lunar New Year. I told myself I'd be good about buying polishes too but one of my fav brands is coming out with another collection that is part of a series and I just can't pass them up. There are 21 nail polishes in the collection. I won't be buying them all but almost. 😄 😄 😄 @itsfi

It’s not just you @veronika23. I think the avalanche of masks at the beginning of the year has something to do with resolutions for self care. With sheet masks I feel like there’s new masks that come out in droves during or around big Asian holidays - Lunar New Year, spring festival, etc. 

Hahahaha! 😂🤣😂 Go get your polishes, girl!! 💅🏼 I decluttered / gave away most of my polishes except for maybe 6 or 7 polishes at the very beginning of last year. I told myself “just keep what you use regularly”. Nice, right?!! Hold that thought.

I was minding my business when I saw few polishes from a cruelty-free, vegan brand that I like on sale (a ridiculous sale) at Target yesterday ... I’m sure you are just as baffled as I am that I came home with half a dozen new polishes. Whoops. 😬🤪😂🤣

Oh good for you for decluttering even though you bought some on sale yesterday. Your collection is still manageable... mine is not. I don't know how many polishes I own that I haven't worn yet. It's really out of control and I need a major decluttering... hopefully I'll be able to resell most of them... indie nail polish will be the death of me. 😄 😄 😄
