Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Oooh that mask is so pretty, @Shosh85! Biobelle usually does such a fun print, love to see them. I made a cake like that for my daughter’s last birthday. It wasn’t nearly that pretty😄 Happy you’ve had such great luck with these!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  Their masks seems to be pretty great overall and their packaging really is so fun! I haven't attempted this many layers, but I did do a colorful 4 layer one once 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 sounds like a good one! plus that packaging is so cute - I wouldn't have expected a clean scent from that!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Kim888  Biobelle packaging is always so fun? Definitely makes you hope for a sweet scent!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I really need to reach for my biobelle masks more often; this one sounds fantastic @Shosh85. Are you finding that the Tencel fibers from these older version biobelle mask feel different than the newer version?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  It's weird because the 3 new fruit ones seem to have the thickest material of all the BioBelle masks, but the originals and the two other new ones (Vitamin Sea and Rose All Day) have the nice thin material that I like. Not sure if the originals and those two new ones have the same exact same material though, because I think the material of the 2 new ones are more meshy.  I should try them out closer together next time refresh my memory. 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Lots of catching up to do.

More A masks - I talked my husband into trying out the Kiehl's avocado mask with me. I think it's a little on the thick side; he thinks it's "not bad" - I'm still trying to decode his mask talk - does "not bad" mean he does like it but doesn't want to admit it or does it mean it's fine but nothing special to him? Time will tell. I'll keep you ladies posted. I couldn't talk him into trying the hair mask. One of these days...

B masks - BITE, boscia and brigtening. BITE is my favorite balm; it's so good for my dry, chapped, windburned winter lips. Haven't tried the new version yet - does anyone know how it compares to the older version? The boscia is a good gentle clay mask; my husband seemed interested in giving it a try, but seems really attached to the Kiehl's rare earth clay mask. LOL. I like the effects of the Korres brightening overnight mask but am slowly getting used to the scent. I love rose scented things but there's something about this one that can be a little too much at times.

C masks - Caudalie and coconut gel mask. The Caudalie is one I use about once a week - my skin gets sensitive with the cold winds but this is gentle enough so it doesn't aggravate it more. First time with a coconut gel mask. I like it? I think. It takes some getting used to - it takes some work to unfold it but it feels nice and cooling. I am still easing into the whole sheet mask thing but this one isn't bad. I found a box at TJ Maxx and may go back to see if there are more I can find.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Ooooh, I love that Boscia mask. Its my current favorite charcoal mask. Also, I love that you and your husband mask together, @Anonymous! I've gotten my partner into weekly charcoal masking and other skincare, and have the same issue, what does "not bad," mean??

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Anonymous the avocado is an interesting mask isn't it!!??

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Anonymous  I love that your husband does masking too that’s so awesome!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I’m very interested in the Kiehl’s avocado mask @Anonymous. Is it similar in consistency to mashed avocado 🥑?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Anonymous  Looks like a lot of great masking! I love the Boscia mask and I think it's fun to apply and mix the colors together 😉 Love that you're husband joins in with you! My husband is basically the Peanut Gallery and just likes to make jokes when I'm wearing one 🤷‍♀️ Could you just ask your husband what he meant by, "not bad?" My husband knows well enough by now, if he says something like that, I will definitely clarify and question what he means. Haha. Husbands sure can be difficult sometimes 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Anonymous  I haven't tried that farmacy coconut gel mask, but it sounds really nice. Haha - I don't think I know how to decode the mask talk, but keep us updated 🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

You picked some great masks to use @Anonymous! I have a DS of the Kiehl’s avocado but haven’t gotten the chance to use it yet. Their avocado eye cream is on the thicker side so I can imagine how this mask might also have a thicker consistency.

The fit on this one was pretty good. I only had to adjust a bit around my mouth. The serum felt thick and had a nice herbal scent. I left it on for 20 minutes and there was a lot of serum leftover. It was a bit tacky but after I applied moisturizer it was better. My face did look a bit brighter and felt very hydrated. Overall it was a good mask I would use again.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@faeriegirl love that it's 95 percent naturally derived

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@faeriegirl  Aww so happy his worked out!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Oooh I like the way you describe this one, @faeriegirl. Pretty sure I have it, it’s always nice to have a bit of context going into a new brand!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@faeriegirl interesting! I don't think I've seen this one before!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@faeriegirl  I didn't care for the scent, but I really loved the results with one! Happy to hear it worked out well for you too! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@faeriegirl  The fit and hydration sound really nice! I've definitely never seen this mask before or heard of the brand. I'll be on the lookout!
