Re: RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I wish everything was available in TS @itsfi so many products to try 💗

Re: RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I agree with ya @lmaster

Re: RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

We’re on the same page @lmaster! 💗💕

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Two other C sheet masks to add this week - luckily they went better than the first two haha

Spoiler
My pores, especially on my chin have been a bit clogged this week. I used the leaders amino Clearing mask. The fit on this was excellent - like almost perfect for my face. It was a thin cotton mask that was well saturated. Adherence was nice and after my skin felt refreshed and vibrant (guessing that's the vitamin c). The serum absorbed quickly. Overall, I would definitely use this mask again.

I also tried out the Karuna Clarifying sheet mask. I don't really have oily skin so I can't speak to whether it did anything to control oil. The fit was decent, it was a little stingy the first couple of minutes but overall fit and saturation was good and the serum absorbed quickly. Again, I feel like clarifying can be a bit hard to tell after one mask but I was happy with the mask overall.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I will use my Leaders masks eventually. Your review is great motivation @Kim888

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Love that Leader's mask, @Kim888!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Karuna masks are a hit or miss for me, @Kim888. This one sounds like it would be good, that Leaders is a nice one, too. Hope your skin gets back to the norm soon!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I appreciate the reviews on these @Kim888 because I have both and they're both in the "up next" box (I put several masks in there that are expiring so I pick from that box first).  I'll certainly be getting to them soon.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Kim888  These both sound nice! Leaders really makes some great masks! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Kim888 leaders is always pretty nice, both sound lovely!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

The mask I keep going back to is the Origins Mini Original Skin™ Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay 1 oz/ 30 mL. It's a Clay mask that's Clarifies and Calms. I love that it doesn't react (no burning, stinging etc) but leaves me clean and with reduced redness. It's not as good as a charcoal mask for really getting into pores, but I use it 2x a week or when my skin just feels like its needs a reset.

I've been going through some deluxe samples of the REN Clean Skincare Evercalm™ Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask 1.7 oz/ 50 mL, especially as my skin is recovering from overexfoliation. @veronika23 and @SAlyFitz recommended it earlier in the thread. IMO it's okay, but not my favorite. I definitely think its Calming and I love that its Clean, but I think I am not a fan of masks of this texture. It's too thick and doesn't spread well for me, and then sinks in, but not completely and tends to leave me a little greasy, even after washing off. I did have super soft skin after this plus jet lag tonight but I'm still searching for a similar type mask.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@haleyvvvv that Origins was a staple for me for quite awhile, loved it! The REN is good for nights when you just want to get a masking in but don’t want to think about it. I like it on my cheeks when I need a clay mask to clear to decongest my t-zone:)

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yes, @eshoe, the REN is super quick and clean, so good!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@haleyvvvv @Shosh85 I have both of these as well, tucked away in my masking bucket. So many masks, so little time. Thanks for the reviews @haleyvvvv , now I have an idea about these 2.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

SO MANY MASKS...@l8totheparty...so many masks

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I feel those words will echo across time. @haleyvvvv

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@haleyvvvv  Good to hear reviews on these! I own both but just haven't cracked them open yet. 😉

Glad to hear the Origins works so well - I love that it's gentle yet effective for you!

I've heard great things about the REN too, but am waiting to try it when my face actually needs some calming to test out it's full potential. 👍😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe ooooh, new mask anticipation is so fun! Let us know how you end up liking both of them when you try them. The REN also hydrates a bit and is really quick, so it is a good all around mask.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@haleyvvvv I like both of these, especially the Ren 🙌

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Nice @lmaster!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@haleyvvvv I really like that Origins clay mask as well! It's very gentle - i definitely think you would like the Charlotte Tilbury one if you like that one! Sorry the ren mask didn't work out for you !
