To Post:
Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas.

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 that's so cute! Glad to hear it worked out as well! It's awesome it left your face feeling softer!

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks, @Kim888! Soft skin is always good! I wouldn't say the results were super impressive, but they weren't bad at all either! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Your animal mask pics are the best @Shosh85! Canโ€™t help but smile. Interesting about the pink areas on your skin-I see hydrolyzed corn, wheat and soy high up on the list, makes me wonder if they are suspect? I donโ€™t have allergies to grains, but it is a good reminder for those who do to check ingredients first๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  I'm not sure what caused it, but there was no pain and it went away quickly so that's all that matters to me! ๐Ÿ˜‰ As far as I know I'm not allergic to anything, but I guess you never know. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Glad my goofy pug face could make you smile ๐Ÿ˜Š

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

You are adorable in these animal-printed masks! ๐Ÿ˜Š @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks, @l8totheparty!! It may not have been too impressive, but at least it was fun. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

One of my goals for the new year was to be better about posting on this thread.  I mask frequently, but often can't get to posting the review right away and then forget what my thoughts are on it.  So here's my first mask post of the new year...

20200101_224239 (1).jpg

Dr. Jart Pore Master Patch: This came with two masks for your nose, the first being the pore removal patch and the second being a pore tightening mask.  This pore patch adhered like glue & hurt like a MOFO coming off.  I didn't see as much as I used to on the Biore nose patches, but I am not sure if that is because I am doing a better job at keeping my pores clean and tight than I used to, or if the Biore ones work better.  I did really like the follow up mask as it helped calm my nose down.  I kinda want to pick up some Biore nose patches now to compare my results.

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mrsmouse I think I have one of these that you've peaked my interest about now.  I love a good nose peel

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

I hope it works better for you than it did for me @missjeanie & that it's less painful!

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mrsmouse cool! I've never seen this one before,, seems like biore is always great for major results

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Biore seems to be the preferred for sure @lmaster.

RE: Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Love the red sticker! My go to!โค๏ธ

Re: RE: Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@JackBauer,  Haha!  Right?!  Smiley Wink

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

I'm so looking forward to your posts @mrsmouse! You have such good finds and I'm curious which ones you would pick up again or pass on. I'll echo the others about Biore - they're the best and yes, let us know about a comparison.

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

I definitely think a comparison is in order @ShortErica, so I'm going to keep my eyes out for the Biore at TJM/Marshalls.  I haven't used the Biore in years and I defintely have changed my skincare routine since.  I use a stronger retinol, vitamin C, acids, etc, so it's entirely possible that my skin is more sensitive now.  Truthfully, I suspect that the Biore is going to be better and less painful, but suspicions aren't proof.  The only was to know for sure is to try.  Smiley Happy

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mrsmouse interesting! I agree though - whenever I've used other nose patches, I always go back to boire - nothing ever seems to do quite the same job

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

That seems to be the consensus @Kim888, and I am really curious to know for sure.  I mean, with the way this one adhered I thought for sure I was going to see a lot.  I'm going to try the Biore the next time I run across them at TJM/Marshalls and do a comparison.

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Ugh that sounds like a pretty awful experience @mrsmouse. I will stick to Biorรฉ, thanks for the heads up๐Ÿ˜†

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yeah, it certainly wasn't very pleasant @eshoe .  My eyes starting watering as soon as I started lifting it up & I had to pause a couple of times.  :/

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

Oh wow that is even worse than I imagined @mrsmouse ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Re: 2020 Q1 Mask of the Week Challenge

@mrsmouse  Ouch. You'd definitely think you'd see a lot more with how much it hurt!๐Ÿ˜ฌ I've tried several nose patches but there hasn't been one as good as Biore! It'd be interesting to know how the two strips compare ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
