Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

For G/T week I had a nice roundup of masks from a bunch of lovely maskers

First up @eshoe sent me the BioBelle staygorgeous mask

Next up was The Creme Shop Tumeric. I've received quite a few TCS masks from unicorn mail - thanks friends! - but this kind I actually bought on my own at Marshalls since it has no alcohol in it

I opted for another The Creme Shop - Pineapple Enzyme Infused. This one stretches the letters the most and I don't think it was on theme either. Oops! Big thanks to @Shosh85 for the mask

I squeezed in one final mask on Sunday, the Tony Moly I'm Real Peach mask from @missjeanie 

Prior to the mask I used the Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx™ Exfoliating Peel Gel 3.4 oz/ 100 mL

@ShortErica  Looks like a lot of great masking! I haven't tried that Tony Moly Mask yet but have tried the other 3 and really enjoyed them all. I had my Turmeric masks sitting around a long time before I finally decided to give it a go, mostly because it just didn't sound too exciting 😉 Like you though, I loved the results 🙌 Glad you enjoyed all these! 😃

Wow that’s a lot of masking packed into one post, @ShortErica! Masks like the PTR are so good, would love to use that one more often just for how nice it makes the skin feel!

@eshoe I've been using a clay mask every Monday morning and aiming for 2 or 3 sheet masks each week. It's been cool to get the 2020 expiring masks used up.

I really enjoy the Tumeric Creme Shop masks- I've received one in unicorn mail, and I've also bought them and gifted some. They are such a nice little mask. 😊 

The peach mask sounds like it smelled devine! 🍑

@ShortErica  Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I read how you found that the turmeric mask fit was a little better for creme shop masks. I just posted that earlier today...haha. I wasn't sure if it was in my head or what, but I'm glad to see I wasn't just imagining it. Like you said, it wasn't an amazing fit, but it was at least tolerable for me in terms of creme shop masks 🙂

Happy to help @PrettyPaint! I appreciate when I have a similar experience as someone else. I'm still confused about a mask (I can't remember which one) that I smelled it differently than everyone else. I remember feeling like I was crazy. Glad the tumeric had a better fit for you too.

@ShortErica Oh, I think I vaguely remember reading about that mask and opinions on scent. I definitely can't remember which mask it was, though. Scent is such a funny thing - In addition to variance between different people, I have noticed that I definitely smell things differently depending on the day, etc. Presumably just a hormonal thing!

For gross week I'm using The Creme Shop Collagen mask because it has some fun ingredients: salmon egg extract, caviar extract, snail secretion filtrate and squalane (which we learned from @lmaster comes from shark liver 😉)

The Creme Shop Collagen Face Mask

This is a thin-medium cotton sheet mask that was saturated with serum and had a pleasant clean and fresh scent. Like a lot of Creme Shop masks, the fit on this one was a bit off - it was pretty much too big all the way around the mask and the space between the eyes was just a teensy bit too wide for my preference. Despite the big fit, it adhered pretty well and was comfortable to wear. I took it off after about a half hour. The leftover serum was a little sticky at first but it all absorbed in about 10 minutes. My face felt comfortably hydrated and a little more plump and my skin felt soft and smooth.

I really enjoyed this one and it's another Creme Shop mask I wouldn't mind purchasing more of!

Now I'm really confused @Shosh85 I have this same mask,, and I looked at the ingredients and alcohol denat is not listed on mine

@lmaster  Thanks for catching that! I actually found 2 different versions, but accidentally posted the incorrect one. It's weird that there were 3 sites that listed it having alcohol denat in it. 🤔

I love this mask @Shosh85 @and have two in my stash. Yet I did not need to know they contain salmon egg extract, I would prefer that on my sushi instead 😉

The (kinda) good news I suppose is that squalene sounds like it is less used in skincare because it’s not as shelf stable as squalane (plant-derived and hydrogenated). But shark 🦈 inner stuff, ewwwww, I will think twice before using this one again😂
