Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  I haven't tried anything from the vege garden line, but there are so many interesting ones that I want to try.... like peanut, potato, kidney bean, eggplant... 😃

Glad to hear this one turned out nice. 🌱

I have tried a few masks from the same line as the snail one and I kind of felt the same way about all of them - fine, but underwhelming. Sorry it didn't do better - I'm always rooting for snail! 🐌

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yes- was hoping for a little more out of the snail mask, but that's alright. I'll take just ok over something that irritates in some way! I'm definitely curious about the rest of the veg garden line though since there are some interesting ingredients for some of them!, @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I love FineVine activated charcoal facial mask it makes my skin so smooth!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Anonymous  I haven't heard of that one, but smooth skin is always a good thing! 👍😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

For H week, I used the Candy O'Lady Honey Milk Candy Mask. I really like the slim packaging on these, and I found that the actual mask was a bit smaller in size than some which was fantastic. Some portions were still slightly large or didn't entirely fit the shape of my face, but it includes those small slits to help you fold. All in all, I found the fit to be better than most for me. It smelled like honey, and the scent was very sweet. It's a microfiber mask.

I kept it on for a good 20 minutes, and the mask was still quite wet after removing it; I probably could have kept it on for longer. My skin felt moisturized after removing it, and it seemed a bit smoother than usual. There was a tad bit of stickiness/slightly filmy feeling, but it seemed to go away pretty quickly and didn't bother me too much. Given the pretty good fit and price, I think this is a nice mask. My skin tends to enjoy milk protein and honey, so it worked well for me!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Milk and honey are such great ingredients- glad to hear this one worked out well for you, @PrettyPaint!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thank you so much @quspork. I share the love for milk and honey as ingredients. They are especially nice for my dry, sensitive winter skin.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I'm a fan of the slimmer packaging too @PrettyPaint. I don't know why more masking companies don't use it. Just fold the mask a couple more times and it fits! Have you tried the other Candy O'Lady masks?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  Totally agree about the slim packaging. I didn't have any trouble unfolding it at all, so I was glad that wasn't an issue. I haven't tried any others by this brand, have you? If so, do you have any recommendations? I am hoping that they all have the same general fit.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint The only one I've tried is the Little Witch one around Halloween. I bought the Honey Milk and Mellow Cotton Candy at Marshalls (it isn't the slim package though) but haven't tried them. 🤦 In my notes I did say the witch one had a good fit so hopefully they all fit the same.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  I am always so impressed by the notes you take on masks. I really need to make myself do this! That's really good to know that you took note of a good fit - hopefully the entire line fits similarly.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint  Sounds like an awesome mask

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather  Thanks! Yeah, definitely a nice, low-maintenance mask.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Honey is one of my favorite skincare ingredients @PrettyPaint! 🍯 Love that this one had a honey scent to it. 💖 Happy to hear this was a good mask for you.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks @itsfi. Honey makes everything better 🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

A sweet honey scent sounds perfect 👍 @PrettyPaint

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster  Yes, I think you'd definitely have to be a fan of honey to like this mask because the honey scent was unmistakable. I do appreciate it when a mask smells the same way as it's advertised in the title! 🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint I agree this type of packaging really is so much nicer.  Glad it was a win for you!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie I'm behind on my mask reading and can you guess what I commented? 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks @missjeanie. Yeah, when I first got them I was confused and didn't even realize it was a sheet mask because I'm used to the square packaging.
