Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Most of the Lapcos masks I’ve tried are strongly perfumed if not fragranced with EO’s, @WinglessOne - so I would probably steer clear of them if I were you. I loved them at one point but after a continual onslaught of perfume-y masks, I prefer them unscented. Unless it’s a fruity one, those are good!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@WinglessOne  Sorry you don't like this one.  I wasn't too impressed with it either. The brightening one seems to be a popular favorite around here 😉 Hopefully you can find a happy home for those!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I agree with @lmaster that the brightening was my favorite of the Yadah jelly kinds. I feel like the jelly masks are better when you have more time to wear them. We all have different skin, preferences, and needs. Sorry it wasn't as good for you @WinglessOne.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@WinglessOne good one for this category! Sorry it still didn't live up to what you were hoping for!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@WinglessOne the yadah brightening one is my favorite of the three, I wouldn't repurchase this particular one either

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I believe I forgot to post my mask the other day:20200225_235756.jpg

This Whole foods Brightening Apple mask courtesy of @itsfi is a nice, refreshing mask that seemed to even my skin and tighten my pores a bit, which was exactly what I was hoping for. Thus concludes my Whole foods masks. *sigh*. I need to make a trip to the U.S. and swallow the exchange rate for more lol.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@l8totheparty  Awww so sweet for itsif to send it to you!! Glad you loved it

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@l8totheparty  Which Whole Foods masks have you tried already? This one sounds great, but so far they all have! Glad you enjoyed this one! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I have tried the Acai Berry, coconut, and the apple one. I like them all for different reasons! 😊😊 Including the fact that I notice a difference in my skin after one mask and there is no tack, which really means I should use these in the daytime lol ❤

@Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I can feel your pain through the screen @l8totheparty. Maybe you'll get some in the Masks on the Move box.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@l8totheparty that's great to hear it's so good! I need to go pick some up and try them !

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@l8totheparty trust me doll, I know the feeling!! Whole foods and trader Joe's are two places that are 3+ hours away from me!! I just wish they would sell these online!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

These are so good, @l8totheparty! Do you have a favorite?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

R is for PTR pumpkin Enyme Mask ans ‘intensive resurfacer’.  I haven’t used this one in a long while and forgot how intensive it truly is.  The mega tingle died down to just a tingle after three minutes.  I didn’t use the physical

exfoliants in it and relied solely on the enzymes and it worked beautifully.  Love the pumpkin scent of course.  It’s an A+ if you have hardy skin.  I’d stay away from it if your sensitive at all.
R is for Revive the skin day by day Facial Mask.  It’s a stiff cotton mask with just enough serum.  It’s got a heavy floral scent but wasn’t intolerable.  The fit was actually quite nice given the material.  It moisturized my skin.  I wouldn’t be opposed to doing this mask again but I won’t seek it out.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I love seeing all the different brands of masks in your collection @heartsmyface

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

‘Bioactive substances’ @heartsmyface - sounds serious! Tahitian pearls can have such beautiful coloring. Like that this has licorice root, that might be turning out to be another ingredient I like this year.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@heartsmyface  Love that PTR mask! The scent and results are both SO good! 🥧😋

I don't know why but I like the packaging on that sheet mask. Glad it at least turned out decent for you 😉👍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I is for "I kind wish I hadn't"?  😕

Spoiler
The Creme Shop Coconut Oil Eye Sheet Mask: Though cute, that's about the only thing I liked on this one.  To be honest, it burned a little which was surprising to me.  I got this in a 4 pack, and silly me, only read the ingredients list on one of the masks which didn't have alcohol.  This one defintely did and I think that's what stung my skin.  I forgot to take a pic of the ingredients, but no matter, this one is a hard pass for me.

Murad Hydration Night Fix Enzyme Treatment: This is an overnight mask, and though I got through it, the fragrance is quite strong.  It smelled exactly like I had put straight laundry detergent on my face.  If I'm trying to be objective I do think it's a good mask in terms of performance, but I can't deal with the fragrance so this one is also a hard no.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hope your next masks treat you better @mrsmouse!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge
