Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@itsfi omg, sorry that the scrub hurt; that doesn't sound fun. Did it make your skin red?

@nuinui933, no irritation and no redness. After using the second step, the scrub felt less abrasive and the end result was soft skin so in that regard, it worked well as a peel, but there are more gentle and equally effective peels and scrubs out there. This is a good one too; I'd just strongly recommend that whoever uses it plan on mixing the steps together into one.

@itsfi  Wait a second, didn't I give that EL sample to you? Oh my goodness, I had no idea! Yikes! I'm so sorry! 😢🤦‍♀️ I hadn't tried it before, but figured it'd be good because of the brand! Again, I'm sorry I gave this to you, but I'm also glad you were able to give everyone else a heads up, because the full size goes for $108 😳

The hydrogel sounds great! I'm happy I have this one to try! So happy it worked so well for you!

Oh my goodness, no need to be sorry; no apologies necessary @Shosh85! It's actually a product that caught my eye before I tried it so thank you for sending it my way (my laptop that I normally post from has decided to call it quits, without any notice to me so I can't pull up my photo files, including the files I had unicorn mail saved to - in the words of Scooby Doo, "ruh-roh!") 😉

This peel would have been good if they just combined the two steps instead of making the scrub a separate step and directing you to apply it to dry skin. I think even adding water to it or dampening my fingers would have made it less abrasive. Fortunately it didn't cause any redness or skin irritation, just a few surprising 'ouch'es along the way. But my skin did feel smooth and soft after step 2. 😉

@itsfi  Well I'm glad it didn't cause any redness or irritation! I totally thought I was giving you something good! Haha! I was reading the negative reviews on this one - it caused acne, itching, bumps, worsened rosacea, etc. It definitely sounds like it's not a product for sensitive skin! Sorry again, for sending you this. I'm happy it didn't burn your face off! 😬

@itsfi I'm curious, was the 2-step peel a mask one of those 'out of sight and forgotten' masks? Unfamiliar peels tend to accumulate in my stash, thankfully I do not have this one though. It sounds...strong? Yikes!

I probably have more peels than any one person needs @eshoe so there's never enough time to get through them. I really feel like this one would have worked so much better had they just combined the 2 steps into one. The ingredients in this are good and so is the brand so no need to get extra fancy with the process.

Ooh, I have a similar modeling mask from this brand but a gold verson. How did you like this mask @averylayne?

@itsfi it's a little messy to apply and looks nothing like the picture, but it set rather nicely and it was incredibly easy to peel off.  My skin was very hydrated after! It felt plump and refreshed.  There's a lot of product in 1 package, so I shared with my hubby, and he said it made his luna oil absorb way better 😂

@nuinui933 the pics make it look very pretty, but it's a little deceiving haha.  You know those memes with the Expectation vs Reality pictures? The expectation was the mask in the product picture, the reality was a clumpy mess that made me look like I was a melting candle 😅 But it was fun! And it did a fantastic job at hydrating my skin, so definitely no complaints!

@Shosh85 I don't know how they get the mask to look so even in the product pictures, but my application was very clumpy haha.  There's a lot of product in one package, so I shared with my hubby 😂 I've been exfoliating a lot lately, and wanted something more soothing, and the mask felt very refreshing and hydrating.  My hubs even commented that it made his luna oil absorb so much better 🤣 It was a fun mask to use!
