March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@WinglessOne @Shosh85 I was so impressed by this one, I love it when you don't expect much and get blown away ๐
February 2024
I went through more masks this month, not sure why. More new-to-me sheet masks as well. I was delighted with most of the masks I used; disappointed with just one. Details in the spoilers.
Overall, another good month of masking. Will be interesting to see what March masking looks like, as my allergies / hay fever can start to act up. ๐ฌ
@itsfi Holy moly! So many great ones here - will definitely have to look into some of these! Too bad the Vitamasque wasn't impressive - I know I would've bought that one based on appearance alone ๐
@Shosh85, oh, I was bummed about the Vitamasques one - their sheet masks typically work pretty well for me and this just looked so pretty too. Win some, lose some. Overall, the month was a good month for masking so one sub-par one is fine. It just stands out, especially since I'm not using sheet masks as often as before.
Oh my gosh the hearts are beautiful!! Such a bummer it wasn't great, but definitely I'll need to look into a few you've listed here! @itsfi
I know @lmaster; I really wanted the Vitamasques to work well. ๐ฃ It was a case of something looking nice but not having the substance to it that you want or hope. Disappointing.
โ
@lmaster Effectiveness is most important, but I agree, a banana scent would've been a nice bonus! Glad you saw great results! ๐
Normally I would of been incredibly disappointed with not having a banana scent, fortunately this one shined with no help from added fragrance ๐ @Shosh85
@lmaster, there was a period where Facetory put out some really nice masks under their own brand, like this one. If only they included a banana scent.
I know but it really was so good, it didn't matter @itsfi
โ
@lmaster I like the sound of a creamy serum! Definitely sounds like the type of mask where you need manually apply the serum from the package!
I mean the serum definitely didn't stay on the mask lol @Shosh85 I think this is a first for me
@lmaster I wonder if it would've helped to put some directly on your skin first, then place the mask on top? I've had to do this with certain masks before. ๐ค๐คทโ
Yep that's exactly what I thought after the fact, I didn't realize it didn't have any serum on the mask, until after I took it off ๐ @Shosh85
@lmaster, I like the sound of this having a creamy serum to it.
I wish the mask actually had serum on it though, it didn't seem like it adhered well to it @itsfi
I haven't been doing a whole lot of masking lately, and wasn't planning on buying these, but cookies and hot cocoa pulled me in ๐ช๐
Hot Cocoa ๐
Que Bella Revitalizing Hot Cocoa Mud Mask
Texture:
Thick and creamy, sort of a body cream kind of consistency.
Scent:
Sweet almond oil was what stood out the most. I was hoping for more of a chocolaty/cocoa scent, but it still smelled pretty great to me.
Wear Time:
About 20 minutes. It didn't really dry down - it stayed pretty soft and comfortable.
Tack:
None
Results:
Soft and smooth skin that was noticeably brighter. My skin was a little dry, (which I expect with mud masks) but not overly so.
Repurchase?
Great results at a great price, so I probably would. ๐
Cookie ๐
Que Bella Nourishing Cookie Cream Mask
Texture:
Soft, thick and creamy, though not quite as thick as the mud mask it came with.
Scent:
Like a combo of cocoa and almond oil. Delicious ๐
Wear Time:
About a half hour
Tack:
None
Results:
I did this one directly after washing off the mud mask that came with it and it did make my face feel slightly less drier, but that's really about it.
Repurchase?
By its self? No. But because it comes with the mud mask, (and it's cheap) I probably would. It was fine and smelled delicious, but it just didn't do much.
Oooooh the hot cocoa side of this,๐ @Shosh85 Happy to hear this made it worthwhile for you! Miss you, also!!
