Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

Fits this forgotten theme well. I forgot i put this in a basket to be soon- tried. So it was fitting & necessary since i am dealing with a breakout.

Fit?ok, not perfect, little extra here & there but i have had worse

Smell?like peppermint, would love these in the cooler weather. Reminded me of Christmas

Consistency?serum was on the thin side, soaked nicely into skin without much tack but honestly I lost track of how long i left this on😜

Ease of use?multi tasked ok.

Would I  purchase/try again

?it does have alcohol in it. But i find my skin needs it every now & then for balance. My skin felt calmer, more matte. It did what it promised. A solid mask when i need it. ❤❤❤❤❤0615202337.jpg

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@sonnydee, I'm usually fine with alcohol in sheet masks, but always like to keep it in mind as I'm masking or reaching for masks. This peppermint one reminds me of Christmas, too! I'm pretty sure I have one of these in my stash; will take a look and if so, will try to remember it during the holiday season.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@sonnydee  Definitely sounds great for those with oily skin! Did it have a cooling effect? Peppermint always reminds me of Christmas too 😉🎄

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@sonnydee  Ouhhhh a peppermint mask would be amazingly cooling on a hot day!   I don’t mind alcohol in masks from time to time either.  It has its place.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

Avacado is upIMG_20200612_223932248.jpg

Spoiler
The Saem brand is a pretty good brand from what I've had the pleasure to try and this one is no slouch! There's a thin milky white serum in the package with a scent that pulled twords ginger and citrus. The sheet was a medium thickness that adhered perfectly the entire 25 minutes I wore it. The eye holes were just a bit small. Not much extra serum included, after removing my skin felt so hydrated and moisturized to the greatest extent. No tackiness on this one either. This would be one I would seek out!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

Oh, this one sounds fabulous @lmaster! 😍 Adding this to my list - the milky serum sounds wonderful and I’m curious about that ginger and citrus scent!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@itsfi it's a great mask to add to your collection 👍😊

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

This one is on the list to look into after my sheet mask no buy is no more @lmaster! Hahaha! 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@lmaster   This mask sounds really good.  Avacado is one of those ingredients I look at and give the side eye even though I know it’s highly moisturizing.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

It was a great mask @heartsmyface I'm happy it had more of a citrus/ginger scent 😆

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@lmaster  This one sounds lovely! Maybe even perfect in the winter!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

It would be excellent in cooler temps for sure! @ather

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@lmaster Happy to hear you enjoyed this one! The results sound great, and so does that milky serum! I haven't tried too many masks from the brand, but I definitely loved the Natural-Tox line 😃😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@Shosh85 this mask was exceptional!! Hopefully more from this brand will start Poppin up

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

B is for Bizoo Oohhaa (and Back at it, with daily sheet masking!)Bizoo Oohhaa.jpeg

Spoiler

These treatment masks come in a pack of 20 and are available in two scents - lemongrass and this refreshing pink grapefruit scent. In keeping with the pink grapefruit scent, I’ve decided to pair daily masking with the bizoo oohhaa 😉 mask with the grapefruit version of either LANEIGE - Lip Glowy Balm or Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 Original, depending on how my lips are feeling on the particular day!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

Lol I just assumed this was a lip mask at first glance.   I love the sound of the grapefruit scent.  I'll bet having a whack of masks in one bag is actually super convenient for someone who doesn't have a massive collection... goals for next year... curate collection and try a mask pack!  Glad this one was so nice so far @itsfi !

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@missjeanie, the scent on this one is great; it's not too much, just a nice clean, fresh burst of citrus goodness. 😉  Oh, you've piqued my curiosity with your goal for next year to curate a mask collection. Is there an ideal number of sheet masks you are targeting for your collection?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

I think just less.  lol @itsfi I seem to do really well for not making purchases then I'll go on a few sprees and suddenly I just bought 100 masks.  I don't know how it happens.  At last count I was around 500, and I think that its overwhelming.  I need to stop buying packs of masks.  I see that it works out better price per sheet and so I convince myself that I need the 10 pack... um... no.  just no.  lol.  I think for me, if I could finish off masks so that I don't have a literal suitcase of them on on the floor, I'd be happy.  I have two crates/boxes about the size of a hat box on my dressing table that are filled with masks and I'd like to whittle it down to just those .. .ish.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@itsfi  I'm so happy you are liking it so far. I love the name too (and yes, I have definitely caught myself singing it as well). 🙂

I wonder if the Virginia Unicorn extract is Aletris Farinosa; it seems like this is often from the Eastern US, at least.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@PrettyPaint, I looked up aletris farinosa and it’s very pretty. It looks similar to something I’ve seen at the farmers market. I may have to ask the woman at the stand more about it.

These sheet masks are very nice; thank you again for thinking of me and so kindly sending them my way. 🤗 I have a lighter skincare routine in the warmer - both in terms of consistency of the products and the number of products I use. Incorporating the mask into my routine has been really good for keeping my skin hydrated. 💦

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge! - PART 1

@itsfi  Oh, that's really interesting that you may have seen it at the market. If you ask about it, please keep me posted. I always love learning more about new ingredients. And I'm so glad that you like the masks so far. I didn't even know that daily masks in a box existed until I read a post of yours, so thanks for introducing them to me. I find them to be so convenient when you don't have a lot of time in the morning.
