Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Tonight's mask is testing out the new watermelon mask I received gratis from Sephora. And sadly I may have to FORGET this one....😬cross post from the clean thread...it's a fiber mask- eucalyptus to be exact. it's not bad, without looking you would think it's a lightweight cotton. Little small in the eye area, I had to play with it- I was scared to get the serum in my eyes. but overall a ok fit. I like getting my money & times worth out of masks, so I knew from the get go I was going to go over the 5 min mark. Everything was fine until about 15 min in. My cheeks right below my eye area started to get tingly. NOT in a good way. It wasn't burning but it was noticeable. I also don't have sensitive skin nor did I stay in the sun too long today so that wasn't it. After a few min waiting to see if it would go away- it didn't so I went ahead & removed the mask. AND it stopped. I was a little red but didn't have to wash off my face or anything. The serum finished soaking in & left with a little tack but nothing a moisturizer can't fix. So it makes me wonder
1. Do you have to strictly adhere to the only 5 min wear time?
and
2.What is going to be the price point on a one time 5 min mask? 🤔
looking at the ingredients, (I did tear off a little upon opening) nothing really sticks out to me 🤷When the new ones get released in going to have to investigate further.....only 🍉🍉🍉 for the uncomfortable tingly. If this is how it plump your skin if you leave it on too long. No thanks.

This is very interesting @sonnydee I will definitely be purchasing one to see if I feel any tingling,, I left the matcha tea mask on for 25 minutes and had a great experience. So sorry this one didn't work out well

If you leave it on for the adviced 5 min you should be ok. @lmaster I left it on longer & that's when I felt the tingly. It is disappointing but at least I have a few to take its place 😉

I was wondering how you’d like this new mask compared to the older biocellulose version @sonnydee. 🤔  I think I’ll like the new eucalyptus fiber masks in general but probably not as far as the the older watermelon version goes - that watermelon 🍉 and biocellulose combination is such a nice one.

It is @itsfi definitely prefer the older version...im not sure about this tingly thing though...

Yeah @sonnydee, I’m trying to figure out the tingling some folks experienced. I expected some tingling with the grapefruit mask - with the citric acid and the grapefruit extract, but I didn’t feel any major tingles that made me think I should remove the mask. I’ve pulled some old Sephora sheet masks and will try to go through a couple of them and compare to the new one that I have.

How long did you leave it on @itsfi ? I would've been ok with the watermelon if I followed the 5 min direction. Thats a good idea to compare..🤔

@sonnydee, I left it on for about 10 minutes; had the slightest of tingling but it wasn't anything that gave me pause because the tingling was very brief and was felt on parts of my face that are generally prone to be more sensitive - I attributed it to the grapefruit extract and the citric acid in the version of the mask I had. I don't recall grapefruit being a flavor available in the older versions. I set aside a couple of the older versions of the mask and will try to pick up the corresponding flavors in the new version when they launch (I'll put my sheet mask no buy on a brief pause for that 😉 ). It'll be a fun little project during the stay at home. 

Did you use the clarifying peels or any peels or products with AHAs/BHAs in them before using the new version of the watermelon sheet mask?

I didnt use anything new that day. I washed my face with a gentle cleanser before. I did use the GR toner the night before but that was a whole 24 hours in between....@itsfi. It was noticeable, not necessarily painful, but after having a negative reaction to a mask before, I don't take a huge chance anymore. Im just glad it went away pretty fast.

I am the opposite of you @sonnydee . I like quick working masks especially before my workday. I alike to rinse my face in the shower. I save the others for evenings and days off. The new sheet masks are going to retail for $5.50 USD per mask. Hoping for a buy more promotion on them like with the current sheet masks buy 3 get one free because I hope to try all.

@Loretta55 good to know the price point. I don't mask in the morning but I could see the benefit of a 5 min mask getting ready for work. I like masking in the evenings/night to unwind before bed. But the mask is basically a $1 per minute🤔 one better wow me for that.

Unfortunately since the pandemic began I have picked up a new bad habit @sonnydee. I fall asleep on the couch at night while watching television. When I finally wake up, I just want to get  my night time skincare routine done as quickly as possible so I can go to bed. 
I am hoping that there will be a good promotion offered when the newer version of the Sephora Masks are released.
