Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@itsfi  Holy avocado! 🥑 Love this theme, and this picture! 😍 I also really love how you categorized your reviews! 😃

I agree, the Papaya Garnier is the best, but the whole line is pretty decent too! I think the scent on the avocado one just wasn't for me. 😉

I sampled that Kiehl's mask in-store, and passed on it, because like you, I wasn't sure about that texture. 🥴🤔

Loved that Whole Foods Mask too! So far there hasn't been a WF mask I haven't liked!

I just had to categorize the masks in avocaDO and avocaDON’T camps @Shosh85! 🥑 I was stuck for a minute with how to classify the Kiehl’s mask but it all worked out. 🙌🏼 

The Whole Foods line is great! ♥️♥️♥️ At one point I considered just using them as my primary sheet masks...but then I visited a sheet mask store and couldn’t resist picking up different masks. Hahaha! 😂 😊

S is for Shea Butter and Sephora. The sheet mask was gifted to me from the wonderful @itsfi! 😊

Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask ~ Shea Butter

This is a medium thickness cotton sheet mask that was saturated with a white, milky serum and had a light, sort of sweet, shea butter scent. I thought it was pleasant. The fit was pretty wonky. It was a tiny bit too wide, a little too long at the chin, the eyes and mouth holes were a little too big and the strip between the nose and mouth was way too skinny. The material was soft and flexible enough it was easy to smoosh things in place, and adhered great despite all the smooshing. I let it on for about a half hour. There wasn't any tackiness after removing and my face had a refreshed, moisturized and plump feel.

I didn't love the fit but did love how it made my skin feel and I'll definitely have to purchase more, especially to have for the winter time!

Sephora Shea Lip Mask

This is a medium thickness hydrogel lip mask that was smooth on one side and textured on the other. It had a very light shea butter scent that wasn't noticeable at all while it was on. It did slide around a little if I moved my mouth too much, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it'd be. The longer it was on the better it stuck. I took it off after 15 minutes. My lips did feel super soft and moisturized, but I can get that same feeling faster just swiping on chapstick or using my Laniege mask.

These are just one of those things I buy to get the price up for a promo. Wouldn't go out of my to repurchase but wouldn't mind using it again.

Sephora for S... how did I not think of this @Shosh85 ??? I think I have a couple sephora masks that I'll need to find now!  Great review, I've never tried any of their lip masks, and while maybe I don't need to... I might need to grab one at random sometime just to try.

@missjeanie  Yeah, I think lip sheet masks can be fun to use every once in a while, but really, chapstick can do a better job. 😉 Plus, I like to have the option to eat if I want - that's very important 😂

@Shosh85, great S theme! 😃 I used to be a little apprehensive of shea butter products on my face but as my skin has become drier as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found it works very nicely to combat that dryness. 💕 I agree that the results from this one are great but the fit could use some work - so true of a lot of sheet masks. 

For the longest time, I’d add those lip masks to my cart if I needed a few extra $$ to qualify for a promo. 😂 That happens less now that I can find other goodies in the sale section online. 😉

I always used those lip masks to up the price for a promo too, but now I think I just need to stop buying lip sheet masks in general. 😂

Overnight miracle in a jar..well tube BITE BEAUTY - Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask but the older, not vegan mask in lavender. I havent tried the new one yet but do have a promo ds. I guess S is for Scared & Shame on them! If they messed up a great thing. Based on reviews...that maybe the case. 💜lovemylavender!

@sonnydee I haven't used the Lavender version but I'm a big fan of the older Bite lip masks in general.  Nothing quite compares to them no matter how many other lip masks I try.  I haven't tried the new ones yet, but I'll be curious to hear more reviews as people use up their older ones. I can't imagine them being better than they are now.

@sonnydee, the lavender one has a nice soothing scent to it. 💕 I haven’t tried the newer version yet; it will be a while I think before I get to picking one up. I get so distracted with all the new balms coming out. 😆 Not to mention the handful of mini’s of the old version of the BITE balms.

@sonnydee I've only ever tried the old version, but I have heard people say the old one is better. Would love to hear how they compare for you!

I'd love to hear what you think of the new version once you've tried it, @sonnydee. I haven't tried any of the new items yet, but am super curious about how some think they may be have changed in quality.
