Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

@missjeanie  Yikes! Sorry the sheet mask was such a let down! I thought I remembered someone here saying they didn't like it so I never ended up buying it. Glad to hear the reaction was pretty temporary! 😳

@missjeanie  😞 Thank goodness your bad reaction was very temporary! Now I’m curious about the full ingredient list for this mask—though I do see clove oil and orange peel oil called out on the front of the sleeve, which are common causes of skin irritation. Anyway, it’s such a bummer when you come across a bad product by a brand you love. 

And I miss TJ’s too! I live near one and have resisted urges to walk to it since February. I WANT MY COOKIE BUTTER! I’ve been making do with Lotus Biscoff delivered from Target, but it’s not the same! I’ve avoided going to TJ’s because it’s a relatively small store compared to, say, a Target or Jewel grocery store; it’s hard enough to keep a 6 foot distance from folks in bigger stores. 😄 But knowing all my favorite TJ’s goodies are just down the street... it’s killing me, man! 😄

I'll have to snap a pic when I get back home @WinglessOne !  I had to pop out to collect some paperwork from my casual job so I can work on things at home.  I generally don't have super sensitive skin and while I attempt to avoid large doses of any essential oils, I didn't figure that they could be that bad with just a mask for a few minutes.  

My closest Trader Joes is about 4.5 hours away just near Detroit.  I found the store super small, but I still managed to find so many things I've loved.  I can't wait to have pancake bread again, diet be damned! lol  I honestly might need to go in to the store, grab a bread to eat in my truck, then go back in to do a good shop once we're allowed to cross the boarder and travel again lol.

I'm pretty lucky here my grocery store has curtsied pickup with online orders and I've been taking advantage of that.  I haven't been anywhere other than my second job, which has like no people in there and is cleaned religiously, since mid March.  I have a current TJ's to pick up list going though... mmmmm that cookie butter is good.  I never did do anything with it other than eat it with a spoon lol!  And the dried mandarins... I'd never had them before my Trader's road trip!  Oh man... I can't wait till I can travel again! lol

Gah!!! 😫 Oh no @missjeanie! 😱 Mini hives, full blown ones... no bueno! 😠 I hope your skin recovers quickly and fully. I will say that of the 2 TJ sheet masks I preferred this one so I don’t know if you should try the other one; I’m thinking no. 

On another note though, your masking streak continues... 🙌🏼

All good now @itsfi , in fact I looked again about a half hour later and you'd never have known anything had happened!  I'm a die hard fan of Trader Joe's so I'll 100% be trying the others, but my expectations are waaaaayyyyy checked now lol. 

I did another one today so I'm on day 9 today?  I'm going to back to check and make sure but I'm curious to see how long I can get a streak going for!

You're doing great @missjeanie! And have used some wonderful wash off and sheet masks (well, with the exception of this most recent hive inducing one). It'll be fun to see how long you've been at it. 🙂

Tonight I've completed my science experiment aka comparison of Bite lip mask Old VS. New. I had to use the old one again on my entire mouth. It'll make sense later I promise. Will update tomorrow!
