Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni

Great use of T's @faeriegirl !  I don't know why but I keep thinking that TCS mask is going to smell of turmeric and be yellow.  Good to know it's not the case.

@missjeanie  The sheet is a light yellow color but it didn't smell like turmeric.

I have this Crème shop and have been curious to try it @faeriegirl, sounds like a good one. The Volition is a great physical exfoliator! I had mine pulled out for this week, too😉

So I finally got a sample of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask! I have to say, the hype is definitely real! My skin absorbed this right up after the 10 minutes, I didn't even have anything to tissue off. It wasn't tacky and my skin felt super soft and hydrated after using it. I definitely think I'll pick this up for winter skincare!

And of course the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Confession - So I've been using this for a  while, I use it all the time, but I have to admit I don't love it. I feel like it's HG for so many people but I don't really find it super hydrating, especially when I compare it the bite beauty lip masks. I feel like I've tried so hard to love it because everyone does but I just don't.

@Kim888 I preferred bite too and feel the laneige doesn't last overnight. But now the bite causes a reaction for me 😭 Enjoy the bite's long lastingness!

@Kim888 the jet lag is my most favorite of SF!! I love that laneige comes out with different varieties, but I'll never buy one again, unfortunately, I don't like the feeling of even dryer lips than I began with 🙄

You took the words right out of my mouth about the La neige @Kim888 . I just picked up the SF jet lag so I’m fingers crossed my skin loves it as much as your does!! Always a win when a new mask is great!

Nice S masks @Kim888! The Laneige lip mask has sentimental value for me and I do love lip masks of all kinds. 😆 I feel like with the Jet Lag mask, it works beautifully for some and not at all for others. Glad that it worked for you.

Weekend Masking!!

I started off with the Farmacy Bright on Mask sample.  How did I forget that I had samples that I hadn't touched?  Total transparency, I haven't been to a store in way too long so these really are forgotten and aged.  That said, I liked this brightening vitamin C mask.  I liked to see the colour changing factor to know the vitamin C beads were burst.  I left the mask on for about a half hour and washed off in the shower.  It was easy to remove and my face might have actually looked brighter post shower.  I've noticed this is on TJ maxx's web site and if I happened to see it in store I'd grab it.
The next mask was the Fresh Black Tea Perfecting Mask.  Someone mentioned once this looked like mashed potatoes and now that's all I can think of when I see this mask.  I did like this mask, but the sample wasn't even close enough to get all over my face even though it was a thinnest of possible layers rubbed in.  If I happened upon a mini I'd be delighted.  But I'm not going to seek it out just right now.  Too many masks, too little face.
The last wash off mask was the Farmacy Honey Mask.  I've been trying to convince myself that I don't need this right now.  It's been in and out of my cart so many times it's spinning dizzy.  The first time I tried this out, I applied it with a brush as I do most wash offs.  After I found out I was meant to massage it in, hence the second sample.  My skin felt great after this mask.  It felt great during this mask (the light warming was very welcome).  Ughhhh..... I don't need this... but I want it.  This is the sweater that I've gone back to the mall to look at a dozen times. 
The SH lip mask... time will tell.
TCS acne dots are good so far.  I have a cystic friend that started to show up a day or so ago.  I can't see it, but I can feel it.  It felt smaller today than it did the day before, so I'll slap another on before I crawl under the covers tonight.
I was going to call it masking quits here, but I had a bit of time before I needed to get to sleep so I decided on a sheet mask from the lovely @itsfi !  The When Snow Song, probably should have been used before I went somewhere to take advantage of the illuminating effects, but the snow just started here last week and we're up to about 6/7 inches on the ground.  This felt appropriate.  I've gotta say, this has to be one of the best fitting masks for my face.  I didn't need to cut anything, normally I need to do a snip across the bridge of the nose and at the outer eye corners to get it a mask to lie flat.  Not here!  The scent reminded me of some kind of citrus, and when I checked the ingredients and noticed the star anise, I could smell it.  I just needed the nudge of reading it I guess.  There was also Limonene in there, so I'm thinking this sounds like a citrus scent?  Either way, very impressed with this mask.  Thanks again @itsfi for introducing me to this one.  This will be a purchase at some point for sure!

I'm a big fan of the When masks @missjeanie and I'm so happy to hear that this one turned out well for you. It's one of the masks from the brand that I really enjoy. Ohhh, that Farmacy honey mask is definitely a favorite of mine; such a wonderful mask! Is this one that you're thinking about picking up the last day of the sale? If so, then in the words of Nike, "just do it!" 🙂 lol.

I feel so behind. I feel like I've been sick for the longest time. Good news is that I'm at the end of it, or really, really hope so. I tried to do daily masking but was too wiped out most days. Best I could do was once a week and my skin is kinda showing the effects of that. Ugh. 

Q Week

I didn't have a mask that fit with the Q theme so I went with an overnight mask instead - the Glow Recipe water sleeping mask smells amazing (I had my ability to smell when I used this one - ahhhh), and it did pretty good too, even if it was a little sticky at first.

R Week

R was for raspberries. These seem to be a hit on these threads and you ladies haven't steered me wrong so I picked this one up out of the communal mask bowl with my friends.  I can see why everyone raves about these. I'd repurchase this raspberry one again; the blueberry one looks good too.

S Week

S for seaweed; it's supposed to be good for hydrating and moisturizing the skin. I could really use both of that right now. I don't know if this one has a scent to it because my sense of smell is still not fully back, but it did make my skin bouncy, which it hasn't been for a while. It feels hydrated and moisturized too. Seems like there is something to seaweed for the skin. I'll have to let my mom know; she sent me a pack of Aritaum sheet masks.
