Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@Shosh85 @I think the softer than cookies one is the one I haven’t tried! I have a few of the HK as well, they’ve been a pretty good line all around!

I've been loving TCS x HK sheet masks @Shosh85. Bummer that this one wasn't moisturizing enough for you. That My Melody one is such a good one!

@itsfi I've been wanting to try them all I just get distracted with all the other masks I have. 😂 I really enjoyed the "My Melody" one. We'll see if that one stays my favorite after trying the others. Do you have a favorite HK mask? 😉🤔

Haha @Shosh85! Favorites so far are Ready Set Glow and the Problem Solver. I wouldn't expect these to be my favorites since I usually gravitate to masks geared towards hydration first. The Keroppi one is also good. I don't think I've used one from this collection that I did not like. I've been saving the My Melody one.

Yeah, tell me about getting distracted. I should have probably stayed on my no-buy sheet masks for a little while longer but too many good things! 😉

@Shosh85 oh interesting.  I never experienced a cooling sensation.  I feel like I need to try it again and watch for the cooling effect.

@heartsmyface It was just a slight sensation and I wonder if it had something to do with my mask sitting next to the A/C vent? It was extra cold when I put it on 🥶 I'd be interested to compare to a room temp mask 🤔

I tried out two masks tonight for my second session of the day!

The Pacifica Sea Algae Anti Polution mask didn’t really fit with a theme, but I just really wanted to it out.  I saw @lmaster review a Pacifica sheet mask so I grabbed two of them recently then happened upon this at TJs. It was fate and needed to come home with me! It has an ahhhmazing scent to it. A warm coconut, with Tahitian vanilla. Mmmmmm. It’s a very thick, clear gel. It spreads over the skin easily and I could get a whiff of the scent every so often. Directions say to leave on 10 minutes, next time I’m going to try that lol. I had it on for just over a half hour and when I tried to take it off with a warm washcloth it almost seemed to ball up. To the point where I went and double checked that it wasn’t supposed to ball up like a peel. It wasn’t. This made it a bit more difficult to get off, but if I’d been in the shower or in better light I’m sure it would have been fine. My skin did look pretty nice after taking the mask off. Less damaged by the environment?? Well... can one mask really do something to prove this to me? I’m not expecting all pollution damage from the last 35 years gone though. What I did see was clear, bright, soft skin. And frankly... I’m A-ok with that! Coupled with that scent I’ll get some use out of this. 
The Hello Kitty Tea Time mask has black tea and collagen and is an antioxidant rich wrinkle buster. I’m not really a huge Hello Kitty fan, but I can appreciate that the packaging is cute and the prints on the mask add a little interest. I found that the bridge of the nose was a bit wide so it didn’t lay right in that area or under the eyes for me. I cut right across the bridge as I do half the time and everything laid much better for me. I left the mask on for about 40 minutes, and probably could have gone another 10. My skin looked great after. Why am I wasting this great skin right now by laying in bed?? I should be out on the town showing off! Well... maybe if I was 10-15 years younger lol. Fingers crossed I’m still hydrated, bouncy and bright in the morning!

@missjeanie The balling up isn't ideal, but the clear, bright, soft skin and great scent sounds wonderful!

With masks like this HK one, I like to cut straight across the bridge too. These definitely don't have the greatest fit. I'm just curious, what did you think it smelled like?

Oh wow @missjeanie a Pacifica mask in a tube, sorry it was balling up on you,, I'm not a big fan of peel off masks..😁 but I'm glad you had a pretty good experience overall. I love hello Kitty, just so dang cute

@lmaster  I don’t think is meant to be a peel off. To be fair, I kept it on waaaay longer than the directions. I’ll need to try it out at the right timeline!
