A lemon tree! So lucky @itsfi ! Mmmm... fresh lemons, I'd be making lemonade everyday!
We had a lemon tree and an apple tree. I made a lot of apple pie and lemon meringue pie as a kid, @missjeanie!
@itsfi There are some masks with alcohol high up in the list that I still use because the results were so great! This one sounds like it definitely had some wonderful results – plus with a second skin feel and cute packaging how could you resist?!
I will probably be purchasing that Lip Scrub more sooner than later, cause you are making me super jealous! Haha! Plus, I tried the Fresh Lemon Balm in store and decided I had to have it 😂 Even though I should probably set a low-buy system for my balms too, I haven't yet, so I just might squeeze in a couple before I make some official rules 😂
Completely agree @Shosh85! My skin doesn't respond consistently one way or the other when it comes to alcohol in sheet masks; definitely one of those things where I have to try the mask to see if it breaks me out or dries out my skin. Fortunately, this one did neither.
I love the lip scrub that Sara Happ puts out. There has been just one that I haven't been fond of and I think I may have gotten a dud because the texture was off. Oh my goodness, you're contemplating a low buy / no buy for sheet masks AND lip balms?! Goodness, are you feeling okay shosh?! 🙂 hahaha! I get it - I should probably do the same but I'm weak. Easier for me to slow down the shopping spree, or put it on a hiatus, with sheet masks than it would be with balms - balms are everywhere! 🙂 lol!
@itsfi I know! I'm still not sure if I'm going on a low buy with balms - I just know I should! Haha! There are just so many balms sitting around not being used, I feel like I need to at least use up a couple before I keep buying more 🤷♀️
I love that you went with an entire mask/lip theme, @itsfi, and that mask looks super-cute.
@CookieGirl1, I love masks and I love lip balms so it makes for a perfect pairing for me. 🙂 All the packaging for the sheet masks in this line are super adorable! It makes masking even more fun! 🙂
Sara Happ lip scrubs are my favorite @lmaster! I picked up my first one over a decade ago in this small apothecary shop and have loved it every since. I'm so happy to hear that you love them too! 🙂
@itsfi how do you usually remove the lip scrub? Or do you leave it on,, I'm trying to figure out the best way of removal
@lmaster, I usually massage my lips together and the sugar granules from the scrub typically dissolve. Otherwise, I'll remove with a tissue or wash cloth.
@itsfi do you dampen the cloth or tissue?
@lmaster, tissue, no, but yes with the washcloth. Just writing that seems odd that I do it differently with each but that's what I do. ha!
Thanks so much @itsfi just want to make sure I get the full benefits from this wonderful scrub!
Today I tried a mask I picked up randomly at Ulta a couple weeks ago and it has to be the most uncomfortable mask I have ever tried. My face is too big. The mask has two loops to put over your ears and you end up looking a bit like Hannibal Lector. It also is very foamy in texture. Bizarre. And I didn’t notice any effects.
It looks very uncomfortable @Weetart☹️ I literally lol’d when I read Hannibal Weetart😂
@Weetart Oh my! That definitely doesn't look comfortable! Sure makes for a fun photo though! 😃
Ok I have seen this mask but passed on it as I figured it covered your neck (and any mask can do that, lol). A little disappointed that it only goes up to your neck. Still, funny masking @Weetart thanks for the 😄!
Ohhhh Hannibal @Weetart! lol! 🙂 🙂 I'm so sorry this mask was so uncomfortable. 😞 😞 You're a good sport for keeping it on as long as you did! My chin, jawline and neck area are probably the most prone to breakouts so I usually avoid these types of masks.
