Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

Thanks @faeriegirl. It doesn't hurt but will be a process to heal. I cut it at an angle so the underneath needs to level out if that makes sense.

It does @ShortErica, unfortunately I’m pretty accident prone when it comes to knives. I even managed to cut the knuckle on my thumb with a potato peeler once🤦‍♀️

Whoa!! Mr. @ShortErica Gets waaaayyyyyy more out than I ever do! I’m oddly drawn to looking at nose strips. I get a sense of satisfaction seeing stuff come out of pores like this.

Okay, it deleted what I had typed. Basically I used three masks two day SNP Tiger Nutrition sheet mask (not very effective but adorable), Take care Green Tea and Witch Hazel (very calming and long lasting on its own) and a homemade turmeric, egg, and honey mask that I put on before a shower. I just finished putting on the mask and there was enough to smudge all over so I was just sorta standing and waiting to hop into the shower. Then my SO said he HAS to pee bad and I’m like noooo you don’t want to see me like this. And when the door opened he stumbled backward in shock lol. I looked like a naked Oompa Loompa. It worked nicely though.

Last night's Thousand Flower and My Little Twin Stars:

I had planned on trying the Summer Fridays R+R to kinda match up the summer theme last night but switched it up to this, and I'm so glad I did.

The Elemis Peptide4 Thousand Flowers Mask is like taking a sip of milk thinking you had water in your glass. I had tried a foil of this before so knew what I was getting into, but it's such a surprise when you are expecting (based on the name) a cream hydrating mask and get this:

It's the texture of velvet and applies like a matte BB cream, with a dainty honeysuckle scent that does not overwhelm or become an annoyance. It is an exfoliating mask, which of course I wasn't expecting the first time I tried it. The granules are visible but not felt; the scent shows up enough to remind me I'm wearing it and finally to remove it, though I didn't want to. After my third use of this mask I give it an A+, and one that I will be purchasing FS.

The Crème Shop My Little Twin Stars Twinkle All the Way was already my favorite Sanrio mask before I tried it. I grew up loving Sanrio and getting a HK or one of their pens as a 9 yo was a very special treat. So I didn't want to use this, but @veronika23  sent me this adorable mask and I couldn't let it sit in my drawer any longer.

It is a mask meant to bring a little glow with gold flecks, pearl and collagen. The serum definitely had a sheen. It fit well, no snips or adjustments necessary. I wish more essence were in the packet, I had enough for a pic of it but nothing else. I left it on a good 30 minutes, it was comfortable and once removed, left very minimal tackiness. My skin looked slightly brightened, I give this one an A and will be on the hunt for it again.

@eshoe Everything about the Elemis mask sounds wonderful! It really does looks a lot like the Mahalo Bean Mask – the texture looks and sounds so nice!

That Creme Shop Mask package looks so cute! I'm happy you enjoyed it and saw some great results! It's too bad you can't find it! 😕

@byme4u @eshoe  Could you imagine opening a mask and finding it pop out like one of those hallmark cards? Lol as soon as I read byme4u’s comment that’s all I could picture!
