Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

@keana1 That is strange it left you so dry! I have very dry skin as well and have used this mask a few times and have never experienced dryness from it - quite the opposite actually! I'm sorry to hear this didn't turn out so well! I thought this would've been a great one for you! 😕🤔🥥 @ShortErica

I know @Shosh85 ! It should have been hydrating but it did the opposite 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I don’t understand why it wasn’t hydrating? It wasn’t expired when I used it @ShortErica. ( I always check expiration dates ). It must have been a dud ! Unfortunately Sephora Canada has removed this mask and many other products from other brands so I’ll have to wait before ordering another one from another website!

@ShortErica I’ve tried that one and I LOVED it.  I have naturally dry skin though so maybe that’s a factor.

I was expecting great results from this mask @ShortErica , maybe the TCFS mask with coconut oil would be more effective for dry skin? I’d have to try it.

On Thursday I tried a new was off mask that I ordered during Sephora’s spring sale: The Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask which has the most amazing, delicious citrusy fragrance and looks like marmalade. Once applied on clean skin, I gently massaged it and left it on for 10 minutes. It feels oily on application but once it’s rinsed off, my skin felt very soft and was left with a healthy glow. This mask deserves an a A+. After using my HG serums I applied the The Inkey List Turmeric face cream ( unfortunately not available at Sephora Canada; I had ordered it from CultBeauty.uk even before I found out that Sephora USA carried this brand. In case you’re wondering about how it smells, it has a very faint turmeric scent which is quite nice! The texture is similar to the Protini cream but doesn’t contain any peptides.Ingredients list for the Fresh Vitamin Nectar mask

I just love the Fresh Vitamin Nectar mask @Shosh85 ! Why did I wait so long before buying it? Kauai stole my spot so I used hers for the picture! We traded places ! 🐾

Since last week was T week and I needed to exfoliate, I used the The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution 1 oz/ 30 mL

and because I haven’t exfoliated with a strong peel I only left it on for 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes ( TO recommends a much shorter amount of time but like Dr.Phil says “ this ain’t my first rodeo “ ). After rinsing, my skin felt baby soft and wasn’t irritated whatsoever. In the picture, I included the skincare products that I usually use after using a strong peel ( DE Sukari Babyfacial : courtesy of my wonderful masking friends @eshoe and @itsfi ( Thanks again to both of you! 🤗 ) or TO peeling solution courtesy of myself via CultBeauty.uk since it’s not available in The Great White North! ). The Elensilia cream was a gift from the lovely @itsfi ( 😍 ) and she also sent me a FS of the MIZON Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule ( serum ) and since this serum works so well for my skin, it’s part of my HG serums ( the bottle in the picture is my 2nd one and it’s almost finished, but I received 2 bottles last week so I don’t have to ration it anymore ( one bottle for my mother’s birthday + a skincare goodie bag and one for me )). The TO peeling solution remains an A+

Yaaaay for snail @keana1! The Mizon is really a great formulation. I've been thinking about using all the products in that particular line, but need to research each of the products first.

Thanks so much for sending me my first bottle of the Mizon Snail serum @itsfi ! It’s one of my favorite skincare products! I looked up the other Mizon products and some ampoules contain parabens which are endocrine disrupters but I don’t remember which ones ?

It felt wonderful @eshoe ! I have to do this more often ! It was a long time since I used the Babyfacial or TO peeling solution! I have to step up hehe !

I’m glad that you enjoy using it @lmaster ! It’s stronger than the Babyfacial but as long as your skin is moisturized and hydrated it doesn’t irritate.

@keana1 What an awesome line up! I'm very interested in that TO peel but I'm afraid I might melt my skin off with it! Haha! I still will probably try it though... but maybe start with like 2 seconds at first though 😂

Thanks @Shosh85 ! The first time I used the TO peeling solution I was as scared as you probably are ! If you want to try it I recommend that you leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it off. It shouldn’t irritate your skin, just remember to moisturize/hydrate before and after using it! 😉
