Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

It did leave a nice glow but it’s too abrasive for the face, I think that it’s fine for the body though @heartsmyface !

@keana1 I was literally just on Volition’s site with that mask in my basket! Now I think I may need to reconsider. Like @lmaster I also quit using the OH Walnut scrub despite loooooving it as it was just too harsh for my skin. Glad I read your thoughts on it😉

@keana1 I've heard great things about that Volition Polish! It's too bad it's too harsh for face, but it's great you found another use for it!

I LOVE that OH Sauna Scrub! I bought a full size after trying a DS of it! That warming sensation is so nice! 😃

I have heard that the walnut is too abrasive for the face @keana1 that's why I stopped using the olehenriksen Walnut scrub,,,,I totally would of used it as a body scrub,,,had I thought of that!!! Dang it, already threw it out 🤦

I’m glad that you stopped using the OH walnut scrub @lmaster but sorry that you disposed of it ! I hate it when I throw away something that might be useful, it hasn’t happened for makeup or skincare but with some shoes and some clothes! Dang, I regret throwing away those items, but they’re only material things that can be replaced!

On Saturday ( T week ) I tried the TCFS Coconut Ceramide Mask. This mask is made of thin cotton and is drenched in a colorless serum. I detected a faint coconut scent which was refreshing. The fit was absolutely perfect. After leaving it on for about 30 minutes I removed it and patted the remaining serum on my face and neck. I read the ingredients list before applying it and was impressed. However this mask left me with dryer skin that before using my usual serums! So instead of applying the DE Protini cream ( daytime cream ) I had to use the DE Lala Retro cream ( nighttime cream ) instead. I have to give this mask a C- because I have dry/very dry skin to start with. IMO it should work well for oily skin types. Like I wrote before the ingredients list is impressive ( sodium hyaluronate, niaciamide, arginine ( amino acid ), licorice root extract, adenosine ( another amino acid ), panthenol ( vitamin B5 ), ceramide NP etc....

Oh no, sorry to hear this one didn't work out for you @keana1. I have dehydrated skin (it's dehydrated-dry in the fall/winter and dehydrated-combo in spring/summer) and this is one of my favorite masks for hydration. Maybe it speaks to my skin being dehydrated... hmmmm...

I’ll have to try it again @itsfi ! I just have to find a website that carries it but also has other brands so that I can have a decent amount of sheet masks and don’t have to pay shipping fees to Canada 🇨🇦. I have to do some research, maybe tomorrow while I’m waiting for my winter tires to be changed and replaced with my summer ones. At least I won’t be bored while I’m waiting 🙄 . It’s going to be busy tomorrow, my dad and I are organizing a surprise birthday party for my mom and she’s such a snoop, we have to find ways to organize things and make phone calls without her finding out anything! I even have to be careful while I’m writing this because she just woke up and she’s going to come downstairs and talk with me or smoke a cigarette ( I wish both of my parents would quit! ).
