Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee

Not at all on theme, but wanted to follow up with reviews for these guys: the Sephora Collection Rose Hair Sleeping Mask and the Sephora Collection Banana Cream Mask.

First the hair mask,

Ok. So this one is really split for me. On the one hand, I loved the system with the cap and that stayed put throughout the night much better than I thought it would. Also, my hair the following morning after a quick wash was very soft and manageable. I really did enjoy the results. BUT. The stench from this was absolutely horrid. I mean- it was atrocious. To the point that I actually had trouble falling asleep. I can't help but wonder if this was just a one-off, or maybe this is a thing with this mask? @itsfi I think you've used this one before but I can't remember who else may have. I'd love to know if you've experienced an unpleasant scent with the Rose version or if mine was just a "bad" one. Either way, loved the results, but wouldn't put it on my re-purchase list as of right now given the scent. 

But for better scents...

I love the scent of this one! It's that fake banana scent that reminds me of banana salt water taffy that I used to get at the beach as a kid. I've used this twice now and realized that I used way too little the first go round. Since it says that each tube it 5 uses, I applied a layer last night and then noticed that I still had probably 80% of the tube full, so I went back and added another layer to really give it a thick mask. The directions say to leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing which is what I did the first time. This time, I left it on closer to 10 minutes and then rinsed. It does rinse off pretty easily. It also doesn't dry down, so there's no drying out of the skin or anything. The banana  version of these masks claims to be nourishing, and I guess it's kind of "well, if you say so." In the end, my skin is left a bit softer, but no noticeable difference with my overall complexion. As much as I like the scent, I probably wouldn't repurchase this one either since there aren't any noticeable results. But I'll keep my mind open until I finish the the tube!

@quspork, I’ve used the rose hair mask twice, once had a nice scent, the second time was meh. My favorites in this line are the açaí and coconut ones - smells so good.
