Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

July: @lmaster suggested a Crème Shop Sanrio Mask for our July 6th meetup, and you all voted for the My Melody Softer Than Cookies.

Most Banobagi masks leave my skin fairly tacky, @faeriegirl, but everyone I've tried has been pretty good. Glad yours was an A as well!

Okay, it was difficult finding V words but I’ve rounded up some good ones for the rest of the week.  

V is for Venom.  Look at that friendly little guy smiling on the package!  Sure i want his essence!!!  It works for him right?  Snake venom has anti-aging properties when applied topically.  Think of it as topical Botox.  Pretty sure I’d have to use this regularly to reap the full benefits.  On its own it’s just a filler mask.  Does the job but doesn’t impress.  I may need to buy a months supply of this in the fall to give it a true review.

@heartsmyface I've really been wanting to try a snake venom mask! It's too bad it wasn't impressive, but it's nice to have some good filler masks too. I'd be super interested in what consistent usage of these would do!!🤔😃

Snake venom! Now that's one I have not tried, haha. It'd be interesting to know how consistent usage would work out, @heartsmyface.

It really works great @quspork ! I started using products that contain snake venom ( synthetic ) a few years ago and they relax wrinkles but I works if you use it on a regular basis.🐍

Ut oh, I'm not translating correctly @eshoe. I like @heartsmyface's idea of "X" for multiplier. So if a mask says "3x as moisturizing" then it would be on theme. Does that make sense? I guess do masks make claims like this?

@heartsmyface. you get a V for being valient! I have a snake masks but I have not been so eager to give them a try. I know you've used a couple; maybe I'll just bite the bullet and go for it. C'mon Fi,  you can do it!

@itsfi There’s nothing to it.  Remember you’ve already put worse on your face and survived;). Just don’t think about it too much.  It’s just a sheet mask and you can always take it off if you have second thoughts.

@heartsmyface   I recently tried a Dermal Korea Syn-Ake mask which also had a photo like this on the front. I don’t know why but I was completely grossed out by it. Snail mucin I have come to tolerate the idea of, but the snake venom.... ehhhhh, not so much. 

I happen to quite like both snails and snakes in nature, but I’m really not thrilled to have their fluids in my masks 😂

See I don't think I would mind snake venom @PinkEvergreen, but snail mucin really makes my stomach turn. Although it gives my skin a great glow, which is kinda unfortunate. I would rather it did nothing for me!
