Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

I have been crazy busy these past weeks and I was determined to find a mask for “W” so I went through my box of samples and I found this one. I’ve never tried it before but I’ve had a rough weekend and Monday Tuesday and I’m sure my skin is looking terrible so hopefully this will add some moisture and glow and give me a fake rested look for the beginning of my work week tomorrow!!

I love love love the LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream@ather, just applied at as a matter of fact! It is going to be a repurchase for the summer months when I’m not up for the heavier La La.

@eshoe  oh so good to know. I use Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer 1.7 oz / 50 mL

have you tried it? How would they compare?

I have tried the Tatcha, @ather. I suppose more obvious is price lol. It's been a few months since then, but if anything, the Laneige may be ever-so-slightly thicker? I doubt it's even noticeable. VERY comparable, the scent (but both have a bit of a perfume-y scent) and again, the price. Come to think of it, the Tatcha likely has a shorter ingredient list as well. PEGs are further down on the list with the Tatcha.

@eshoe  Very interesting! I might have to give it a try too!! I use la la in the winter too!! And the water cream is my daytime/summer cream I use. But I’m always up to try something else!! I have a sample so I’ll give it a try and let you know!

Cool please tag me when you do @ather! The Sleeping Mask has never done much for me, I just don’t like how tacky it feels. But the Wayerbank is fantastic for my skin.

@lmaster  it’s so good. I’m funny I love sheet masks but I love the ones you put on and wash off too. So this one you wash off in the morning which was interesting to me. But it worked so well

@lmaster  I found a sample of it that I must have gotten with a Sephora order. LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask

It says online to use your regular moisturizer then apply but I didn’t apply anything under it. I’m kinda weird and I think it wouldn’t work as good over something so I only applied this and went to bed.
