Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

Glad to hear that @itsfi!  Hahahaha nice! Did you grab any hand repair cream? I think I forgot to tell you that I love that one for night time use... and I also love their body cream and their scrub isn't bad either.  I'm fully stocked so no orders for me. 😄

@veronika23, I picked up a hand cream when I was in Vancouver. I also just picked up a set of hand creams online. 😊 There are so many different flavors. It’ll be fun to see which I like best.

Hmmm @veronika23, I didn’t know there were 2 different kinds. I’ll have to take a look when I get home tonight what I picked up when I was in Vancouver, BUT yesterday, I ordered the hand repair directly from the site so I’ll definitely get to try it one way or the other. 😃

My last review for Dual week and the first half of the year!

I started off with the 'new' Farmacy brightening mask.  I adore the coconut gel material.  This was sandwiched between two protective layers.  Though the thicker serum seemed to be mostly stuck to the protective layer and not the mask?  I applied some of the extra serum to the outside of the mask once it was on my face, but maybe next time I'll put it on under the mask?  I had it on for a half hour and really enjoyed this mask.  I received this one in particular in my Ipsy bag (shoutout to Ipsy for giving me the most perfect for me bag possible in June), but I have one here that I purchased and I'll grab more next sale.  Left my skin brighter, more hydrated, and looking great.

The 'old' Farmacy Brightening mask was a winners find after having received one from  and discovering I loved it.  The serum on this one is a bit thinner, and I think the mask was more wet because of this.  Again, love the material, and my skin was left brighter, more hydrated and looking awesome.  

For the second part of the dual I went to bed with one half of my face using the Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping mask and the other using The Creme Shop Watermelon Sleeping Mask.  Both went on nicely, and had a watermelon scent.  The GR scent was a bit stronger/sweeter (a plus for me).  No tackiness issue with either side, though it's not normally something I'm bothered by. When I woke up both sides honestly looked exactly the same.
 Looking at the price difference I'm going to stick with my full size Creme Shop.  The GR is still great, but since I already have the FS of the CS, I don't feel the need to run out and grab the GR (even though it has exfoliants and wins the smell test).
Since the Farmacy mask is only out in the new version, I'll gladly re-buy it, but I honestly loved both versions.  Like  mentioned though... if I happen to run into some of the old versions, heck yes, they'll be coming home with me.

@missjeanie These are some great comparisons! I think I agree with you - the only difference I've noticed between the two watermelon masks is the scent being stronger and sweeter on the GR one.

Glad to hear both Farmacy versions were nice, but I have been hearing the new version is a bit better. I would definitely buy more of the old version too, if I happened to come across them! 😃

@Shosh85 I really thought I'd end up liking the GR Watermelon better, and while I do prefer the stronger sent, good on you Cream Shop!  I don't think the AHA's in the GR are enough to sway me since I do use them separately.

Love the comparisons between the Farmacy masks @missjeanie. Although I've tried both, they were so far apart from each other I wasn't able to note any real differences. This was helpful and I agree, if I ever see more of those old ones at TJ Maxx, I would pick them up, too!
