Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@lmaster we will see how it goes. I'm wearing the black tea and was trying to determine the scent. Opening the jar with white tea you can tell they smell so different. Hopefully they mix okay 🤞

I keep seeing these and never pick them up because I didn’t like their face wash. Maybe I won’t be shy to pick these up if the price is right and my stash is low (LOL) @ShortErica

@Weetart, was there anything in particular you didn't care for in their face wash or just in general, it didn't work out for you? I've seen the face wash in the store and the packaging, of course, is cute, but I've never tried them - I have enough face wash too to try and plenty more on my list and it doesn't sound like I'm missing out on anything but just curious if there was something specific about the face wash that didn't make it a good choice for you.

The texture and consistency. @itsfi it was a real effort to get some out of the tube and it took too much effort to get it to a spreadable point. The smell was nice, it wasn’t irritating formula wise. Just too much work. I tossed it before I was even halfway through.

@Weetart Good to know..don't waste money on cosmetea face wash. I saw the black tea at my store but thought I would be somewhat good, though I picked up 4 packs of masks. I've seen lots of the white tea here and there but the alcohol in it made me say no. I would say good filler mask status based on my first impressions. Black tea is on now. 😉

@ShortErica I've seen this one at TJ Maxx a few times, but decided to pass 'cause I just don't need that many masks with high alcohol. Glad to hear the results were pretty decent! 😃

I see you went the box without trying route @Shosh85. I would never do that 🤣😂😋 Let me know when you do. So far boxes of them don't seem bad. I think based on other masks I have I wouldn't repurchase but I would use them all up. With less masks, I'd probably pick up a pack though. Wearing black tea now.

@ShortErica I use to NEVER buy boxes of masks unless I knew I loved them! - I never used to be so impulsive, which is why I put myself on a low buy. Haha! I also read a few people had liked this line so that just added to the impulsiveness 😂 Plus, the temptation is even stronger when shopping at TJ Maxx! 😉

@Shosh85 Another part of me wonders if I'm being a bit nit-picky because I know I see these at TJ Maxx/Marshalls and don't want another variety of mask to pick up. Oh problems! It's so hard when masks don't expire until 2022. Surely I'll use them up by then, right?!

C is for clarifying. Midflower Biochotoan Clarify Black Mask. First off, this mask smells terrible, in the description they say there is a lemon scent. HAH! But yet, I still use these masks because even though they smell absolutely horrible, they do wonders for my skin. My skin feels smooth, refreshed and feels happy and non-irritated during and after. So, yup, keep using them. Oh, and they fit my face remarkably well and stay on your face so and I can walk around and scare the neighbors when I get my mail.

How long does the scent linger @Weetart? I can usually handle a scent if it fades away quickly but if it lingers for too long, I may start to get a headache if the scent is strong and unpleasant.

Lingered the entire masking session. Once I removed it and massaged it started to fade @itsfi . If scents give you a headache I’d definitely avoid this one.

Sorry about the smell @Weetart ! The important thing is that it worked well for your skin! It’s like TO Buffet with Copper Peptides, it smells like vinegar but it’s sooo good for my skin and once it’s absorbed, the smell goes away!
