Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@heartsmyface I haven't seen this one! I like how it's called the "beauty sleep perfector"– I definitely need that in my life! 😆 Besides the Grandmotherly scent, this sounds good! I'm pretty I've tried a few masks that fit that scent description! 😂

Last night tried the Problem Solver Mask, and this afternoon/evening (I don't even know what time it is lol) I tried out the Holika Holika Strawberry mask.

The Problem Solver Mask was quite nice.  It did have a faint apple scent to it that I quite enjoyed.  I kept going back to sniff the packet lol.  I also have a whole host of problems, but on my face especially, I had two little friends pop up.  I put the mask on for about 25 minutes and it was starting to get a bit dry so I pulled it off and my skin looked pretty good.  Nothing specific to note, but it just looked good. No crazy tackiness, but I don't always notice that anyway. This morning I noticed that both of my new friends looked as though they were doing some heeling, so I'll call it a win.  Now to try and keep any new friends from joining them this week!

This afternoon I was craving strawberries, so I went off P theme and tried out the Holika Holika Strawberry mask.  It has easy open tabs on the packet, which, I gotta say... nice touch.  There is a scent to this mask when I first opened the packet.  There may have been a hint of strawberry in there, but it mostly smelled clean, maybe a little lemony? There was a decent amount of serum and it wasn't drippy.  The mask fit okay, but I still snipped across the nose and the eye corners (which is apparently how I need to snip most masks).  My skin after having it on for a half hour does look a bit brighter.  It's got more moisture than before the mask, but I wouldn't call this a moisturizing mask.  I feel like I'm not in the right frame of mind tonight to grade this one though.  I'm feeling super stressed about the 6 exams and 2 projects all due in the next 5 days.  Thankfully I'm done work as of Friday so I'll have more time for classes.  But I also have two French tests this week for a new job, so added stress there as the level of French required is a bit beyond what I'd say I'm comfortable with. I'm gonna give this mask another shot after next week and see how I really feel about it.

@missjeanie, I did the same thing with the Hello Kitty mask - I went back to sniff the apple scent. lol! It's refreshing. 🙂  Strawberries that smell like lemons - ha! I often wonder who's in charge (or if there's anyone assigned to the task) of testing the scent on a sheet mask?! Was there was a hiccup in the QC for the Holika Holika strawberry one? Was the official sheet mask sniffer having an off day?

@itsfi  I was starting to wonder if it was me who can’t smell! Lol I wish I lived with someone to smell it for me! I could detect something strawberry 🍓like, but the more I sniffed the more I thought it smelled like a clean lemon🍋?? Do clean lemons smell different than dirty ones? Either way it did smell nice at least!

🍎The problem solver mask was such a nice apple scent. Not too overpowering, but still there. I love it when masks smell nice. I know I’m supposed to prefer no fragrance, but fruity is the best to me. 🍏

Why YES @missjeanie dirty lemons are not nearly  as crisp as clean ones. Mush is not the same as crisp 🤔

@missjeanie I have both of these and haven't tried either one yet! They sound great! That's funny the Strawberry one smelled lemony! I'm happy to report to you that the Lemon one smelled like lemon! Haha!🍋 So happy to hear your unwelcome friends are slowly showing their way out! Let's hope they don't get excited and invite more friends over to party 😂

Stress certainly causes me to get unwelcome guests too. You definitely have a lot on your plate! Wishing you the best of luck, you can do it! 👊

The last "P" mask for the week. Peripera Pineapple 🍍

Peripera Pineapple Juice Time Mask

This is a super thin and transparent cotton sheet mask that was soaking with serum and had a very light and refreshing pineapple scent.🍍The fit was okay – just a little too wide at the temples and a bit long at the chin. The mask adhered well and had pre-cut slits at the eyes and both sides of the chin for better customization. I had it on for about 40 minutes. When I removed it there was still a little serum left on my face that was slightly tacky. The serum absorbed very quick and the tackiness faded on its own after about a half hour. My face was noticeably brighter, soft and smooth, very well hydrated and even had a really nice glow! I put this on around mid afternoon and both the hydration and glow lasted till bedtime! – I might've even been able to skip the bedtime moisturizer, but put some on anyway, just in case. This one is an A+
