Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Ugh @Shosh85 @scott1201 calls it DR:TL I think which means Didn’t Read Too Long and quickly summarizes the above points, but I think we need a summary phrase that captures the ‘typed it all, all erased, here’s the bare bones’ essence! @itsfi what do you think?

with the “__” being the number of times it’s taken; hopefully only not too many. So, “Do-Over; Take 2” or DO;T2. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll keep thinking about something catchy. Come on brain 🧠, you can do it! 😂🤣😂

@eshoe Haha!! I knew about the DR:TL, and I loved that @scott1201 used it in her reviews!! I love your version! Haha! I think that could catch on! 😂😆 I had the same experience as @itsfi did with her post disappearing – I typed out this very long and thought out review, then I hit "post".... I got an error message and everything I wrote was just GONE. 😥🥺 It's almost the same feeling I got when I was in high school and my several page essay just vanished from my computer! (That time I cried though) 😢😂

Tonight I choose Garnier for masking. This mask was new to my stash and not a repurchase unfortunately. It felt okay and the mask fit well, but left a strong algae smell afterwards. It's a bit too off putting to get past.

@IndyQT317  bummer about the scent. I can totally understand that. Even if a mask is great, sometimes the scent is such a turn off for a repurchase.But when the mask is just ok with a strong scent, its even harder to look past it.

Monday Night's G lineup!

I used the Boscia matcha mask -- It's Green...  lol I really just wanted to use up the last of the DS that I've opened.  Its really dried out quite a bit, but I've likely had it at least year so I can't really fault the mask for that.  It was a good mask, but nothing special this go round.  

I also applied the Lancome Genifique and Dr. Dennis Gross post mask (I went looking through my bag of DS samples for "G" items lol.  The serum was just meh to me, the moisturizer actually gave me a little tingle... and I use acids and retinol daily.  I'll likely keep using these guys this week to use them up.  Thank You Alphabet for helping me use up some items!
