Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

I’ve had some fairly good results with multi-step masks, @eshoe; this one is a nice one. Wondering if I’d get the same results with just the sheet mask. May have to give that a try.

@itsfi The way this mask started out with the thickness, scent and fit, it was sounding like kind of a "meh" mask - but those results sound fantastic! So happy it worked out well for you! 😃

Okay I couldn’t wear this mask the whole session cause it was too drippy.  I lasted five minutes before declaring it a form of water torture.  I like that it’s foiled and that it’s two piece with no scent but the dripping on my chest every three seconds was too much for me to take.  I’m sure it’s a great mask but I’ll never know.

I remember it being a bit drippy, but usually I shake out the really saturated masks a little before putting them on - so that might be why the dripping wasn't too bad for me. I thought the results were great, so it's too bad the dripping cut you short from the full masking experience! At least you got a good selfie out of it! 😃🤳

@Shosh85 it never even occurred to me to remove some of the serum!  🤯. Haha, dang.  I must’ve needed sleep more than I thought!

@heartsmyface, I think I found this foil mask to be dripping with serum too (it was either this one or the gold foil one that was drenched in it; interestingly, I didn't have that same experience with the blue mask from the line). Sorry you didn't get to use it longer. It looked great on you while it lasted. Did you end up using another mask or calling it a night?

@itsfi That sounds promising for the other varieties.  I think if i come across this one again I’ll try wringing it out as per @Shosh85 ‘s suggestion.    I ended up just putting vitmain e oil on my under eyes(I’ve decided that I like that best as an eye ‘cream’ lately), and using the watermelon glow sleeping mask.

W is for Wander Eye Mask and the wonderful Sephora Lotus Face Mask.

The eye mask had plenty of serum. It absorbed well. I left it on for 15 minutes. Probably should’ve left it on longer. I noticed no difference in my dark circles, but I haven’t been sleeping well since my husband has been out of town. Newlyweds. 🙄

The face mask was heavenly! I assume it smelled like lotus flower. Whatever the scent was it smelled fresh and relaxing. It had a lot of serum. It was just a tad messy. The fit was pretty good. It overlapped my bottom lip just a little bit. I think I left it on for about 30 minutes. I didn’t intend to but I got so relaxed I was too lazy to get up and take it off. The serum left my face slightly tacky even after messaging it in, but not unpleasantly so. My face definitely feels hydrated. I rate it an A- because of the slight tackiness, but I’d buy it again. Best I’ve felt all day.

That’s good to know about the Sephora masks @quspork . I found quite a few of different kinds of these under my sink when I decided to join this challenge.
