Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

July: @lmaster suggested a Crème Shop Sanrio Mask for our July 6th meetup, and you all voted for the My Melody Softer Than Cookies.

I feel the same about those Kocostar masks, @missjeanie. I will use up the jars I have, but don't plan on repurchasing them. I think the Jayjun ones are much better.

When I'm off my low/no buy I'm planning on buying that Pixi mask! I don't think I've heard anyone say anything bad about it! Glad you've enjoyed using it! 😃

Thursday Night

I was feeling like I needed a quick mask, and I really loved the Oozoo Illuminating bear that I felt like I had to try out the Oozoo X Oozoo Bear Water Bang Hydrating mask.  There was an X on the package!! This was a gift from the lovely @ShortErica and I really enjoyed it!  I like the 'bursting' of his ear.  Way better than bubble wrap.  I massaged the serum into the mask and then applied for about 25 minutes.  Was the Water Bang drying down quicker than the Illuminating?  I'm not sure, but maybe.  The serum on this one felt a bit thinner than the illuminating and didn't contain any of the shimmer.  I did feel like after removal I still had a lot of serum on my face to massage in.  My skin felt plump and hydrated after using the mask and someone with less dry skin could probably get away without a moisturizer after using this, depending on what time of day they were masking.  I did top off with a lighter mositurizer as I've been phasing out my DE Lala for the summer.  My skin was good the next morning, was as moisturized/hydrated as I expected.  I'm not sure this would be enough of a hydrating mask in the dead of winter for me without my Lala though.  That being said, there are very few masks at that time of year that I could hydrate enough to make me skip my Lala at night. I really like all of the Oozoo masks that I've tried so far, but the illuminating might be winning as my favourite currently.  I'm super happy to have found a box of these though and will gladly love them!
