Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Honestly, It reminds me of cheap dollar lip balm @quspork   That’s the reason I got it too. I think my daughter might inherit this.

@emaisgr8 @Isn’t the sticker like application of the eye masks amazing! I loved this jelly pack too, but boo for first time blemishes. Hope your mini masker gets rid of that pesky bigger quick.

@emaisgr8 this sounds like some wonderful masking. @eshoe got me hooked on the eye gels and if it wasn't clear in a Yadah fan. 😉

You have a mini masker too! That's awesome and I only hope to have one in the future too. Hope that blemish disappears quickly for her.

For Y week, the TONYMOLY Pureness 100 Red Ginseng Mask. (two Ys in a name totally counts )

This was an in-store clearance pick-up from Ulta and I have to say that I'm glad I didn't pay much for it! On the plus side, the scent was slight- lightly ginseng, so not overwhelming. It also left no tackiness after removal. But! Removal happened early because the fit of this was just terrible. It's a thicker cotton sheet and it just would.not.stay.put. I got tired of wrestling with it and constantly re-adjusting it, so it got removed before 10 minutes had passed. It's too bad too since my skin did look a bit refreshed after removal. A longer wear may have proved even better, but it just wasn't worth it to me. Just another "not great" Tonymoly mask for me, LOL.

Yeah, @faeriegirl, I kind of feel like TM is one of those brands you hear a lot about because it is typically fairly cheap and easily available so when people are just starting out in K-beauty or sheet masking or whathaveyou, they're a very accessible brand. But unfortunately, I haven't found the quality to be that great. That, however, hasn't stopped me (obviously) from buying random lines of theirs to try!

Sorry they don't work for you either, @Shosh85. But at least that's the nice thing about a cheap mask, you don't have to feel too bad if it doesn't work out!

I know some people seem to like TM, @PrettyPaint, but I've yet to find a product of theirs that has anything more than "meh" personally.

Their masks never fit my face too well, nor do they act like they want to stay there, @quspork. I feel your pain! Do love the scent of ginseng, though.

I swore them off for a couple of years @quspork but there were so many decent reviews from other maskers I figured I needed to try the line again. Fit was still terrible but thank goodness the ingredients calmed my skin.

I had the same experience with this mask @quspork . I don't remember if it was on clearance, it barely lasted 5 minutes and left my face dryer than when I started.
