Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

I kinda get your feeling on this one @veronika23 .  I have the Milk watermelon one and I'm never quite sure what to think of the results.  Love everything you do though!

I'm so intrigued by these stick masks, @veronika23. It's too bad this one has't produced any noticeable results yet, but maybe after a few more uses? Thanks for the review!

@quspork  yeah maybe after using it a few times... I'll keep taking notes. But if stick masks interests you maybe try the new Sephora collection ones. They are much cheaper in price and I'm assuming it will be similar to this one in terms of application/feel, etc. Thanks!

I'll definitely keep Sephora's new stick cleansers in mind, @veronika23. Hopefully we'll see some good reviews of those soon. For now, I really need to work my way through my current stash before I buy any more masks, LOL.

@veronika23 I feel like I've heard others say this one didn't seem to make much of a difference, but who knows how long they tried it before they came to that conclusion. I'll be interested to hear what you think after you've tested it out more! 😃

I'm so happy you tried this one and reviewed it @veronika23! I've wondered about it; the hydrating aspect definitely speaks to me and I love the ease of application and portability. I'll be keeping an eye out for your further thoughts on this one. 😉

A is for Apple

The Crème Shop Hello Kitty Problem Solver sheet mask is a repeat mask for me. It was a love the first time I used it earlier in the year and continues to be a love for me. It’s soooo good. I don’t know what it is about this mask but my skin loves this one. Like all the masks in this line, it has a cute little illustrations scattered throughout the mask. Adherence is great and fit is fine once I make the usual adjustments to the length at the chin and corners of the eyes, nose and mouth. For whatever reason, I didn’t pick up a scent on this one when I used it Tuesday night – the first time I tried it, I was able to detect an apple scent to it. It’s something that I would have liked but not a deal breaker when taking into account that I did not experience any tackiness from the essence after removing the mask and my skin felt velvety soft and smooth, firm and supple and looked refreshed and hydrated. I really hope The Crème Shop and Sanrio never discontinues their Hello Kitty & Friends sheet masks. All of the sheet masks I’ve tried from the line have been wonderful and this one is simply amazing.

To complete my apple + Hello Kitty theme, I paired the sheet mask with the Softlips Natural Lip Balm – Crisp Apple, which, as its brand name states, gave me soft lips. This balm glides on easily and has a subtle apple scent. It’s not a lip balm that I would rely on alone to save my lips through a brutal winter or if they were sunburned, chapped or peeling, but it works just fine for regular days and c’mon, how cute is the packaging?!! 😉

I picked up a subtle apple scent the first time I used this mask too @missjeanie! I was expecting it this time but for some reason, no. 😞 I have more of this apple mask so hopefully those will have an applelicious scent. 😉

The balm was fine @lmaster; I'm used to really rich balms (as my lips are dry). These do a good job, but not ones that I would rely on really moisturize through the night. This one smells good and works well for daytime. I couldn't resist the Hello Kitty theme. 😉
