Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

A is for apple, antioxidant, and Anna Sui.  

The cos my real skin apple mask is a tencel mask With very narrow eyes.  I had to snip them to fit my eyes.  The mask smells like lemon lime liquor.  Like I wanted to drink it!  No apple scent which is confusing but I still enjoy it.  It hydrates well and claims to brighten so cool.  This mask gets a B+

The anna sui stardust lipgloss is fun.  It’s a clear gloss with red pigment stars within it.  I had to dig to get to the stars to make a red tinted sheer gloss.  It’s quite moisturizing and looks pretty on.  It gets an A.

Rhe Dollkiss Apple sleeping pack is just okay.  It smells like herbal essence apple shampoo.  I can tell already I will need to reapply before morning.  It’s gimmicky and cute and will probably enfin up being a moisturizer for my legs.  C

How odd that the Apple sheet mask smells more lemon-lime than apples, @heartsmyface. Sounds like a decent hydrating mask!

How cool is that lip gloss @heartsmyface !  The new leg moisturizer looks pretty cool, remember when herbal essences were the it shampoo everyone just had to have.  Smelled sooooo good!

@annahoang  Yeah they’re kinda cool.  The stars are pigmented like lipstick if you focus a little brush on just them.   I like the result with the clear gloss though and probably wouldn’t do that.

@heartsmyface, I saw the pic of the apple sheet mask and thought "oooh, apple scented mask" but alas, no. I'm not opposed to lemon lime liquor but had expected apple. The Anna Sui lipgloss sounds super fun! Love that you'll use the sleeping mask for your legs - I'm going to start doing that.

@itsfi   Lol, most all the face products I don’t fall in love with end up on my legs or feet.   It moves them out of my collection quickly and without me feeling like I’ve wasted them. It’s kinda nice cause I have lower expectations for leg creams than I do face creams.

Totally get it @heartsmyface! 🙂 Masks that don't get along with my face are usually relegated to my feet and elbows. Never thought about legs, but I will now. 🙂

Used The Creme Shop My Melody for the mask meetup tonight? 🤔 maybe I'm early to post but I want to while my thoughts are fresh...the serum is pretty runny taking it out of the package -it didnt run once I put it on thank goodness! The mask itself had lil characters on it like biscuits, the melody character & maybe tinted pink? I saw pink when I took it out but it didnt look tinted on🤷‍♀️ It also didnt smell like chocolate or cookies-maybe sugar but that's probably my wishful thinking. It did have a sweeter/comforting smell. Wasnt bad but if you are going to tell me theres chocolate 🍫 give me some chocolate !😜 I left it on about 30-40 min. My face was still wet with serum but the mask was getting pretty dried out. I went in-a lil too early😬- with my night moisturizer so the tackiness stayed a bit longer than i think it would have. I did have trouble with the eyes-this one was pretty wide on the nose part so it would try to come up on my inner corners. I did have to smooth it back down at least twice-enough for me to watch the clock. I do think I have more of these, its not a bad mask but it's not one of my favorites from the line. My face did feel soft though. Maybe B+. it's a nice-i dont know what I want to do tonight but I want to mask...type. It did make me want to use my caramel lip balm though! 😙😍

@sonnydee, I'm so glad you mentioned how abnormally wide this mask was at the nose bridge. lol! I've experienced that with a few other sheet masks from The Creme Shop. I like the results this gave me so much and I'm so use to making adjustments to the corners of the eyes that it's not an issue for me, but I did notice that it was sooo wide. Agree too that I wish this had a chocolate scent to it. It would have been great if they could have put in a warm, just from the over chocolate cookie scent. 🙂
