Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

I just grabbed that pack of aloe masks before my week at the beach and LOVED the results !!!! I would highly recommend for some post sun TLC

Your store displays them so you can actually see them @heartsmyface ! I kinda love seeing them like this. Mine has them all on a mini end cap crammed together. That watermelon mask smells soooo nice 🍉

@missjeanie   I don’t think they were always like this.  They were on a table in a big pile last time I was in.  I picked up the watermelon ones cause I saw commentary that they were good here.

I did masks and I'm posting within 24 hours... Hi my name is Shawna and I've been absent lol.

Started with the DHE Mask from Consonant.  I've reviewed this before.  Was an easy thin mud mask to toss on.  I like it.  I wasn't convinced it's better than my pixi (just finished her last week), but after taking a post shower (where I washed it off) I was like 'wow'.  Skin looked even in tone, bright, as in awake.  Dang.

Added in the Dr. Jart Ceramidin creme as I've had a few dry spots crop up since attempting retinol again.  Lovely.

The Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Nightly Repair Mask -- My first use.  The single packet design is odd.  I kinda like it for easy travel and sharing.  But is it wasteful?  This mask smells like you think it's gonna.  Not a great scent, very medicinal.  But I got over it once it was on and it won't deter me if the product is great.  I used a half of a packet on my face as a sleeping mask.  I've gotta say the balm texture of this was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!  It was thick, balmy, and felt like I had a layer on my skin, but also felt like it was sinking in.  This is going to be amazing once winter hits for my dry skinned peeps.  It could easily be too much for some with oilier tendencies I'd wager though.  My skin looked great this morning, and my dry spots were gone.  Nothing left on my pillowcase.  I'm super excited to use this when my skin is extra parched. 

forgot to mention above -- The Consonant DHE mask was sent to me as Gratis from Consonant and Sephora.

I didn't know Dr. Jart had that Cicapair mask - though there is a part of me that wonders if I actually did know at one point and if I actually do have that mask in my bin. LOL! Gonna make a note to check for that! hahaha! 😉 I use the Consonant HydraExtreme - @veronika23 recommended it - so good for dry or dehydrated skin!
