He didn’t get anything in his eyes @byme4u. The flaps were a surprise since we didn’t look at the back of the package when we bought it. I didn’t know the hair masks had alcohol in them. I’m surprised they haven’t dried my hair out. Then again I rarely use them. I think I only have two. I have another mask I prefer over these. As for the picture, after I got him settled and I was getting ready to put on my own mask he said, “What about my picture?” 🤣 Geez bruh I think I’m gonna make you get your own BIC account.
@byme4u For whatever reason he likes being attached to my account. I can’t figure him out. 😄
@divaknits That's so awesome he gets excited about masking - such great motivation for each other 😃 I was curious about the Sephora Oil mask - I might still try it but wait for winter. Does your husband have dry skin?
I would say his skin is combination @Shosh85 . He gets pretty dry on his cheeks, but his T-zone isn’t exactly oily. He gets a zit every blue moon. I’d suggest waiting for winter to try it since it’s pretty oily.
@divaknits Awww this is so cute, though I'm sorry the masks weren't the greatest. That's a bummer about the tearing. Hopefully if you mask again you'll get some winners!
Thanks @PrettyPaint! I’ve got so many masks I was bound to run into a bad one at some point. We chalk it up to a learning experience. We’re already talking about masking together sooner rather than later.
@divaknits Yeah, absolutely! Glad he's ready to give it another go soon! 🙂
@divaknits - that mask looks interesting. I didn't know it was a cleanser too until your post. It does look ill fitting and this is the first time I've seen the eye cover come from up top over the eye. Your husband is a good sport to wear it.
I don’t care for the mask and I wasn’t even the one wearing it @nuinui933 . It was just so oily when I was helping him adjust it. And it still fit weird. He loves masking so he enjoys trying different masks. I doubt if he’ll wanna give this one another go though.
You two are just too cute @divaknits! 💗 Love your couples masking! 🥰 I have that Sephora 2-in-1 oil mask but have been putting it off. May keep holding off until winter when my skin is more dry.
Good luck with getting to that hair mask. I feel ya. I’ve found that I’m more likely to use the hair mask if I put it on first and then move on to my sheet mask.
Thanks @itsfi! I would definitely recommend the oil mask for winter.
I’ve been thinking of putting the hair mask on first. I think I’m so used to my other hair mask that’s not overnight. It just never occurs to me to go ahead and put it on.
OMG @itsfi , this is the cutest picture ever!
Thank you so much @emaisgr8! 🤗 It was a good (and yummy) masking sesh! 🐻
Thank you for pinpointing the specific that affect your skin positively, @itsfi. I haven't gone so far as to whittle them down yet, as much as I have determined the ones that don't agree with my skin. Beautiful pic, too!
Thank you @eshoe! It's so much easier to ID the ones that don't agree with your skin because it's oftentimes so clear which ones those are. It's just as useful to know what doesn't work for your skin as well as it is to know what does work for it.
@itsfi Lovely photo as usual! I'm so glad to hear that the charcoal stick isn't overly drying. I so often get distracted and leave a mask on for too long as well.
Awww, thank you @PrettyPaint! I'm usually hyper vigilent when it comes to charcoal masks because I'm concerned they can make my skin really tight and dry, but I completely lost track of time with this one and even with an half hour of wear time, it didn't strip my skin of all its oils. Phew!
@itsfi Yep, I've definitely tried my share of charcoal masks that can be a bit too drying, especially if left on for too long.
Glad to see you're liking the mask stick. I was eyeing that earlier and considered trying it out before ultimately just leaving it for next time. I'll make sure to go back for it!
@YesThatShelby, the mask sticks are great for portability and ease of use. I know there have been some comments about the scent on these mask sticks. None of the scents have been an issue for me but you may want to check the scent on this first to make sure it’s okay with you; I’d say the scent on the charcoal mask stick is the strongest.
