You’re adorbs @mrsmouse!!! I love steam eye masks - they’re so relaxing! Love the llama design on this one. 🦙
Aw, thanks @itsfi ! I have to admit that I loved the silliness of the llama mask.
@lmaster This sounds wonderful! So happy you enjoyed this one! 😃
@Shosh85 it was so relaxing! I enjoyed this one so much, thank you
The packaging makes me feel serene @lmaster .
Hmm..haven't seen this brand before @lmaster. Thanks for the review.
@ShortErica I think this one you would enjoy, it was excellent
I'll have to keep an eye out. I didn't like the scent of the Ariul Tea Tree but this one seems better if it's more just like tea @lmaster.
P.S. I saw Yadah All Day masks at my Marshalls again (aloe which I already have a 2nd pack of and rose, no collagen) as well as new stock of Frudia masks. Hopefully yours get some of these goodies!
@ShortErica yes it smelled more of just plain tea,,,I found out yesterday that the tj Maxx in the town closest to me (45min away) is rebuilding a brand new one to open in October,, I don't go to that town super often, but I'm hoping they will get more mask stock... One can hope 😉
I'll add some positive thoughts that you get some good masks at your new store @lmaster!
That looks like it would be a lovely mask, @lmaster! Herb-y/tea scents are special in masks.
It was so lovely @eshoe I hope I find more in my stash that have this scent
I totally think E is for Eco works @lmaster! You could even say E is for “Eco Beauty” - it says it on the top right hand corner of the back side of the packet. 😊
I really liked this one @itsfi there's something about tea scent that I love
It definitely sounds like a good one @lmaster & I love when there's a lot of extra serum!
@mrsmouse me too! It's a nice essence to add the next day 🙌
Week 31 - July 29 - August 4 - E - Multi-Masking
I only needed two days of aloe vera masks plus my other skincare and my face was back to normal - yay! So I focused on what I would do on Saturday for multi-masking. My goal was 7 masks - hair, face, neck, lips, eyes, nails, and feet. Erno Laszlo is from MOtM, the neck one is from @missjeanie and the nail mask is from @eshoe. Thanks!
I started with a shower and the Garnier hair mask. It seems to work fine. I'm no wowed but it definitely didn't make my hair drier like one of the Shea Moisture hair masks I tried. I'd try the Garnier again but don't plan to run out and buy it.
Next I went with the face, neck and nail at the same time while soaking my feet in a bath. That's supposed to help with the foot peel, right?
My face:
I actually had no trouble with the hydro gel mask sliding around. It stayed in place nicely. The neck/decolletage one on the other hand seemed to scrunch up if I moved. 😞 So I got in the bath and thought I would browse Sephora and use the nail masks.
Hahaha what a fool I am. You can't really play on a phone or iPad since the touch with the masks on doesn't work very well. Also, tip if you use these - open all the perforated holes first and apply your thumbs and pointer fingers last. I tried to apply one hand then the other and I ended up having to take some off and reapplying once I got other fingers situated. Another tip, there are different sizes and maybe I put the one intended for your pinky on my thumb and thought it was tight before realizing my error. Oops!
Now results: the nail masks did leave my fingernails quite shiny. I tend to keep my nails short because of frisbee so I don't think these go with my lifestyle. I use to always have long natural nails and could see this as a special occasion type of thing but nowadays, not so much. The other important thing was the nail masked had a strong smell. Kinda getting that Cracker Barrel rose lotion scent again but also the nail masks were more perfumy. And the smell stayed around for hours after removing the mask.
Face stuff..well I didn't see the firm and lift from the Erno Laszlo so that was disappointing. Maybe it did something but I really couldn't tell. And the neck mask was just scrunched up though it definitely moisturized the area. Also there was so much extra serum from the neck mask and I've saved it in a jar.
Since my face was moist I didn't want to do the eye gels and then forgot to put them on later. But I did use the lip mask and then went downstairs to do the foot peel and watch some TV. I put my right foot in before applying the liquid/gel and then of course got it on my ankle as opposed to just removing my foot. I'm shaking my head at myself. Then I did it correctly for the left foot. I used athletic tape to secure it and wore them for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Results TBD.
So multi-masking - for me it was more stressful than enjoyable. Maybe I just tried to go too big. I ended up successfully doing 6 masks in one session kinda back-to-back so I feel accomplished. I don't think I plan to do it again though. I was definitely an experience though and I really hope the foot peel works!
