Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@l8totheparty  Oh nice! Thats some heavy duty peeling! So happy it's working so well! I know what you mean about the socks - I've done a few feet peels, but every time I still get a little surprised when I take my socks off 😃

I have pretty thick callouses on my heels, @Shosh85 , and it's taking care of them!  I'm shocked. The pedicure lady will be surprised as well I'm sure next time I'm in.

It suggested 1 hour, or up to 90 min if greater exfoliation was desired. I left the booties on for between 90 min and 1 hour 45 min. I figured my heels needed all the help they could get.

Yeah I didn't go without socks during my one attempt, @MissPuff. Nobody witnessed but my daughter who was fascinated by it, she calls the skin that peels away 'skinnies' 😄 @l8totheparty

@eshoe  I was one of those weird kids that liked to peel dried glue off my fingers so this foot peel was so up my alley 🙂 I told my partner, this is the price of beauty 🙂

I still like to do that @MissPuff only with this, it’s essentially the same just is honey-scented and leaves your skin softer than Elmer’s (I did a side-by-side comparison earlier this year)

@itsfi I need to pick up a hair mask! I still haven't tried any of the Sephora ones yet because I've been worried that it wouldn't cover all of my long hair - I forgot how long you said your hair is, shoulder length? I think I might just go for it and pick this one up - it sounds great and I like Acai as an ingredient.

It's too bad the sheet mask wasn't anything exciting. I have the honey one from the same brand and I'm curious how it'll compare 🤔

@Shosh85, my hair is shoulder length now - the result of a communication with the hair stylist gone awry 🙂 but it's grown out a little so I'm getting used to it. My hair was probably a little below the middle of my back at one point when I was using the SC hair masks. I tend to just apply hair masks to my ends and the length so it doesn't weigh my hair down at the top. If your hair is really thick and long or if you like to apply the hair mask products liberally, there may not be enough product. I can be stingy with my hair mask application - which really doesn't make sense - I don't need to be at all given the amount of hair masks I have. 🙂 

The honey mask from sounds so good - hello, it's honey!! 🙂 Curious to know how it performs for you.

@itsfi Thanks for the info! My hair is down to the middle of my back, but it's super thin, so I'm thinking it might work - plus, I'm a little stingy too 😉
