Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@keana1, you're a marvelous skincare mixologist! 🙂  I've really liked the Balance Me brand - their ingredients list is good and work well.

Thanks @itsfi ! I just love the Balance Me oil blend, it has a great mix of different oils! I’m so glad that you made me discover it ! I love that it’s 100% natural, and contains clean ingredients! Did you order it from the UK ? I want to know because once I finish it, I’ll definitely want to order it! If I had to grade it, it would be an A++ ! 🥰. I can’t say that I would be a good mixologist in a bar ! LOL 😂.

@keana1  the first time I ordered I went through a UK site called lookfantastic dot com. Since that time more online retailers stock the brand and lookfantastic has a US site. Other sites that I’ve used are skinstore dot com and Bath & Unwind. I couldn’t find a Canadian based retailer but you might check out the 3 sites to see if any has a deal going on when you run low on the Balance Me Oil.

I noted the websites that you mentioned @itsfi ! I have notes everywhere, I should gather them up together! 🙄 or jot them down in a notebook, as if I didn’t have enough of blank notebooks!

hahahaha @keana1! 🙂 I know what you mean! I have notes in several different places - a notepad (or maybe two) on my nightstand; notes on my computer in excel, word, etc. Maybe my second quarter project will be to come up with a more unified system... maybe. LOL!

The majority of my notes are in a notepad but the sheets can be removed in a flash @itsfi , some are on my kitchen table, They’re scattered everywhere so today’s homework, if I manage to get a few hours of sleep, I’m going to rewrite them in a notebook that I got for 250 Sephora points! Everything related to skincare or makeup will be in the Sephora notebook so it’ll be easier to find everything in there !

Thanks @Shosh85 ! I feel like I’m a mad scientist 👩🏻‍🔬 sometimes! 🤓 I’m somewhat of a nerd when I feel like it ! I have very nerdy friends and when we get together people just stare at us with a weird look , it’s so funny 😂! We dress ultra preppy, we look like we just came back from a golf course... 😂

Tonights masking/treatment: Farmacy Green Clean -@lmaster it comes with a baby spatula- A+ love this stuff (I had to break out the big guns for tonight, I went to a new place to get my eyebrows done & the lady was great been doing it for 30 years but colored in where she thought I need to let my hair grow out in a to light of a pencil. Good thing I was going straight home but it did give me a different take on my eyebrows & something to think about🤔) then masked with Global Beauty Dead Sea wash off mask. It was on the menu for this week due to it having minerals. This is my first time- I'll have more uses & I have mixed feelings about it so I'm not going to grade yet. It doesn't have a mud/clay smell. I flipped it over & it does have parfume second to last on ingredients, it wasnt strong & not bad but why? on a mud mask. It does smooth out nicely-it's almost like a cream & doesn't take much to get your face covered/opaque. It looks dry & tight but feeling it-it doesn't feel dry or tight. I ended up leaving it on for a good 30 min just to see if it was ever going to get tight but no. instructions are for 10-15 I think. It was a odd mask. Not bad, just different. Washing it 😖I ended up grabbing a cloth just to make sure I cleaned it out of my pores. It says you can do both but you really need a washcloth or maybe I just used to much🤗 My face did feel nice & soft when I applied my night moisturizer so we shall see...🧐
