That is darn cute packaging! One of my favorite Pure Smile sheet masks is grape scented. It’s not the best serum in the world but the scent pleases me so much that it really doesn’t matter:) @Shosh85
@heartsmyface I totally understand! I've used a few masks where the serum/results were kinda "meh," but the scent was just so fantastic and delicious, I'd do it again just to smell it! Haha! 😂😋
@Shosh85 gauze!!!! I have only had one gauze mask and it was a ❤️ at first application 😂 Can you tell me where you found this? I think I’ve seen it before but cannot remember where...it’s been awhile (6 months is forever it seems like!).
@eshoe Well, crap – that is a very good question! Haha! ..... I have had this one for awhile. 😂 I know I've seen it on YesStyle and Amazon!
It's not exactly like other gauze masks I've tried though, it has a bit more "puffiness" to it, if that make sense. I kinda liked that though, because it seemed softer than the other gauze ones. I think that's why they call it, "soft embossed."👍
Ok well I’m going on the hunt for it @Shosh85. The Lucky Cat is OOS, was just going to order more!
@eshoe I noticed that too. I wanted to order a couple more. Apparently a bunch of other people liked as well. 🙃
Ha ha yes and the piggy is still oos as well @Shosh85!
Love the OH PowerBright, @itsfi! You're right- it's such a great mask for some instant brightening for a special occasion!
@quspork, my skin has liked having the OH peel in the routine. I've had to tell myself that I really don't need yet another box when I see them at TJ Maxx / Marshalls. 🙂
@itsfi I picked up a box of the OH cards at TJMaxx or Winners, don't recall which, but I haven't tried them yet. My skin has been feeling scrubs lately though, so maybe I'll bust this out over the weekend! Good to know you can get a few more uses out of one card as well!
I love the "it's not you, it's me"!
@missjeanie OH has two peel sets - one in a blue box and this one in the orange box. I have both, but haven’t tried the blue set... yet. If you have the orange one, start with a small amount. Less is definitely more. 😂 The very first time I used it, I was so excited to try it out that with one of the products, I scooped out more than I needed and my skin screamed “what are you trying to do to me?!!” 😂🤣😂 I adjusted for it and it was so much better. 🙂
@itsfi If the blue one is the one I'm thinking of from them it came in a pack of 6X3 foils to use. The walnut scrub that I'm thinking of in that one was one to be very gentle with. I used what I had, but found the scrub was too much of a harsh scrub for my skin. I'll go easy with the orange one for sure! Thanks for the heads up!
@itsfi What a nice variety you have going on there!! I found a bunch of the OH Power Bright and my TJ Maxx as well, and have really enjoyed using them! They definitely do leave you soft and bright! 🙌
The hair oil sounds interesting – though, oil has never worked for my hair. I have thin and straight hair like you, but not a lot of it and oils always make my hair feel heavy and greasy. Sorry you're in the, "it's not you, it's me camp" with this one. P.S: I love that you call it that. 😆❤️😆
@Shosh85, I like the idea of hair oils but haven’t had too much luck with with them either; usually too heavy for my hair. We’ll see if I can make this one work...or if it’ll stay in the “it’s not you, it’s me” camp. 😂😂😂 That was the best I could come up with for things that just didn’t work for me but seemed at least conceptually like they’d be good products. LOL! 😆
Oh @itsfi, don’t you just hate it when you feel all proud of yourself for tossing the box, like you are beating the clutter-and then realize it contains some very valuable information? I’ve learned that a time or two with masks🙄. Everything sounds interesting, the hair oil until you mentioned it weighing down your hair, which I don’t need. I do like cooking with annatto seed, though!
That is exactly how I felt @eshoe! I tossed it around the time I got the nail mask too, so it’s long gone. 😔 Hopefully I’m using it correctly. 😆
I’m going to have to look up annatto seed. Do you use it for certain dishes? Or is it your go to oil for cooking in general? I’ve never heard of it until this hair oil. I’ll have to try to figure out a way to use it without it weighing down my hair. 🤔🤔
A tbsp of annatto seed thrown into some hot olive oil will make a great starter for some garlic basmati rice @itsfi! I can’t remember what I first used it for, but it gives a good earthy aromatic flavor with a bit of smoky twist to a meal (and suddenly I want to start another food thread😄)
Ohhh, that sounds really good @eshoe! I’ll have to try it.
I used to sub to Cook’s Illustrated @itsfi, I’m guessing that’s where I discovered it. I like to watch him, Christopher something - when it shows up on the TV😊
