Oooh, let us know how you like the Tarte Knockout @lmaster! I definitely felt tingling even when I slowly moved to using it at full strength.
Most definitely will @itsfi it'll probably be a couple more months 😅
@itsfi thanks for the review on Pai! I see the brand often at the Bay here, but I didn’t know enough about it, and I’m not well-versed on the beauty return policy there. But for dry AND dehydrated skin 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️ Sign me up! (I also think that I haven’t tried the brand because I have a favourite Thai restaurant by the same name and every time I see the packaging I think of the restaurant, And then I’m hungry and then ..... what masks? I just want pad Thai now😂)
Ohh, Pad Thai is soooo good @cianni! Sounds better than the salad 🥗 I packed for lunch today. I know what I’m having for dinner tonight. 😋
Are you able to get samples from The Bay? The mask is nice and I like that Pai uses natural and organic ingredients but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to cause a reaction.
@itsfi All these masks sound so great! I've been curious about those Tatcha masks, but haven't wanted to pay full price to try them. Glad to hear you enjoyed this one! I'll have to keep my eyes out whenever I go to Costco to see if they ever pop up again!
Ive never heard of that Pai mask! Healthy, hydrated and bright skin sounds perfect to me!😍🙌
@Shosh85, Pai has some good skincare for sensitive skin; that’s how I learned about them. I’ve only tried a couple of their products but they’re good. If I see the Tatcha masks at Costco or online again, I’ll let you know. 👍🏼
The Pai mask sounds very nice @itsfi, like something that could be a good A.M. regular😉 I may have to sample that one soon on my next Detox run lol!
Thank you so much for the names behind the brands, I’ve added them to the ever-growing list (it’s increased so much since Sunday, yay!) you are so helpful☺️
@eshoe it’s nice to see so many great woman founded / owned brands. I knew a few from last year’s challenge and it’s fun to learn about more.
Tuesdays Masking is courtesy of an amazing masking care package from the lovely @eshoe ! I don't think it's a women owned brand... but it came to me from a woman so...? lol I tried the Cosmetea Black Tea Nourishing Moisture Mask. LOVE THIS MASK! There was a light scent of tea mixed with something else that I couldn't quite place, and I almost wish it were just a touch stronger. The mask fit well, a little long in the chin but it stuck to the underside of mine fine, so it's not a bother to me. There was a ton of serum in the package and now that eshoe sent me a few mask pellets I'm curious how much serum they need to bloom? The serum was a bit thicker than most other masks I've tried and I was able to leave the mask on for just over an hour with only the upper lip drying. I peeled the mask off because I needed to hit the hay and was surprised to find that there was quite a bit of serum left on my face to massage in. I peeked in the mirror and there was a fantastic glow. My skin felt so moisturized that I decided to use my DE APassioni for a second night in a row. I woke up this morning and my skin was great! I'm pumped about this mask! Thanks @eshoe this is a great one!
Tuesday evening I used the Pixi Glow Mud Mask -- I'm pretty sure Petra Strand is the founder. Then I topped it off with a mask I received from @itsfi , The Vita Genic Lifting Jelly Mask. This mask really did feel like it had a jelly feel to it. I didn't notice much of a scent to it, and I had it on for a half hour. My skin felt bright, and looked great when I took it off. I can't really say that my skin felt lifted, but it felt nice, soft, moisturized, and alive. And really... I can't ask for much more than that from a half hour mask!
I just love those jelly masks @lmaster @missjeanie! My skin is happy whenever I use them.
@missjeanie The Cosmetea mask sounds wonderful!! I see this brand at TJ Maxx every once in while – I'll definitely have to pick some up next time I see them! 👌
So far I've really loved the Vita Genic line of masks! Happy to hear you liked this one! 👍
I'm in the same boat @Shosh85 ! I've seen them pop in and out of Winners/TJMaxx and just never grabbed them. I'm contemplating going tomorrow after work to check, but I am going away next week... I should buy masks then instead.... oh the addiction is real lol!
Oh I’m so glad the Cosmetea did your skin well @missjeanie! I did find a couple of 10-packs at TJ Maxx like @itsfi mentioned, and since I had tried and enjoyed the green one, picked them up. I will add Pixi to the list, it’s growing daily which is awesome (and useful for when “W” shows up on the schedule 😉)!
Good call on “W” week @eshoe @missjeanie! 😃👍🏼 Hopefully I’ll remember when we get to that part of the alphabet.
It was great @eshoe, the serum itself stayed quite liquid and was really nice to massage in after the mask. It sure did give a great glow from being so well moisturized. This one is a winner in my books! I'll be keeping an eye out at TJMaxx/Winners to see if they get them in again!
@missjeanie, I think I have that Cosmetea mask as well - picked it up at TJ Maxx last year but I haven't used it yet, so I'm happy to hear that it is a LOVE for you! 🙂 The combination of the Pixi Glow Mud Mask and the Banobagi jelly mask sounds fantastic - one detoxifies the skin and preps it for the brightening and moisturizing jelly mask to follow. 🙂
@itsfiIve seen the Cosmetea brand masks at Winners here and didn't grab them! If I see them again I'll snag a pack.
The Mud mask was a great way to get some gunk out for sure. I'm finding that I'm enjoying mud masks, especially the ones that dry down, much more with a sheet mask chaser. It really seems to prime my skin for the sheet mask!
A “sheet mask chaser” (LOVE that and a chaser is the best way to go with clay masks that dry down - great, great idea @missjeanie!) I have some clay masks I’ve not reached for a lot because they dry down but using a sheet mask to get hydration back is perfect! 👌🏼
