Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

Yaaaay! So happy to hear it’s a fave of yours @Shosh85, and as a moisturizer too! 😃 It smells so good and I like that it hydrates and moisturizes without being too heavy!

@byme4u, from time to time, I’ll use overnight masks as daytime moisturizers, particularly the ones with a creamier texture. I figure if it’s good enough to sit on my face for a long-ish stretch, and hydrate and moisturize my skin while I sleep, then it should probably be good enough to moisturize my skin in the daytime. 😆😉

@lmaster, I have a feeling I’ll end up using it one last time and then using it on my elbows  or just my nose, to use it up. It’s a small sample so I probably only have a couple more uses left.

Thanks for the review of the PTR mask @itsfi. I think that's one featured in the 21 days. I don't need anymore masks but if it was phenomenal maybe I'd have to try it. Glad I can spend my money on other things instead. 😉

@ShortErica, the mask works really well for some people. It just didn't warm up which was what interested me in the mask in the first place. Are there a lot of goodies that catch your eye during the 21 days sale?

I'm trying to stick to my no buy and low buy @itsfi though I thoroughly went through the ad. 🤷 I'm breaking my make up no buy today. I assumed I wouldn't need replacements and didn't include them in my goals but I plan to replace my bareMinerals Mineral Veil Talc Free Setting Powder Illuminating Mineral Veil today. I also thought about a brow product but I can wait for a sale next year. I also looked at all the masks on sale. The PTR looked intriguing and if I purchased it, it would have to be at the sale price since I've never sampled it.

How about you? Anything mask or otherwise you are planning to scoop up during the sale?

@ShortErica, I feel like replacements get an exemption from the no buy / low buy. 🙂 With a few exceptions, I'm trying to stick to a no-buy on sheet masks and a low buy on wash-off masks (and other beauty related purchases as well). I was doing pretty well on a no-buy for the sheet masks but picked up a few of the Julep sheet masks with them being half off at Ulta. For the 21 days, there are a few things I want to pick up as gifts for friends and some restock items for family. I think I picked up enough goodies so I'm going to hold off until the spring sale next month.

When I read your ‘meh’ comment @itsfi, I quickly scanned the pic to see if I could guess which one it would be-no surprise there! I remembered reading about one of your experiences with it before, such a bummer. It sounds (and looks!) so promising.

I really wanted the PTR one to work @eshoe. It’s not a bad mask; I just don’t get the warming that is suppose to come from the mask. 😞 I know others have said that they feel the mask warm up for them so it’s a keeper for someone, but not me.

Leaders Aquablend Oil Pocket Mask – Nourishing with Italian White Truffle

With this one, the White Truffle Oil is in a separate pouch you are to squeeze until it releases into the pouch with the sheet mask. Before you open it, you're supposed massage the package, making sure it's all fully distributed. The mask is super thin and has a very pleasant and refreshing lemon scent. It had a great fit – just a bit long at the chin. It had great adherence and was super comfortable – almost like I wasn't even wearing it. When I removed it after 40 minutes my face felt very refreshed and happy. There was some tacky serum still on my face, but it absorbed on its after about a half hour. My complexion looked clearer and brighter and my face felt soft and smooth. The hydration from this was excellent and long lasting and I also gave me a very nice glow! I give this one my first multiple-plus A, an A+++ !  This mask was fantastic and will definitely be buying more of these! Thanks again Fi, for the wonderful masking session! 😍

High praise @Shosh85 !!  I'm so glad you found a mask that you're so in love with!  Just reading the package it sure sounds like an amazing mask.  Gotta admit, I thought it was going to smell like truffle oil.  Lemony sounds delightful though!

Oil sheet masks are usually hit or miss for me, but this Leaders mask is one of my all-time favorite oil sheet masks, @Shosh85! 😍 So happy to hear your skin loved it! 💗
