Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee

I quite enjoy the Pixi mud mask as well @quspork !  I always feel as though my skin looks clearer after using it.  Glad to see it's a favourite of others too!

@quspork Both of these sound so great!  I've heard so many positive things about the Pixi Glow Mud I've decided I'm gonna finally buy it the next time at Target! 

I'm starting to realize that my skin does really well with masks that have snail secretion filtrate! 🐌 Glad these are helping with your breakout. 👍

I’m so sorry the serum broke you out @quspork! Ugh. 😑 Glad you had some great masks on hand though! I need to try that Pixi mask; it sounds fab! 👍🏼 Ahhh, love the Leaders AC mask - good ingredients and a skin savior. 😃

@quspork  Aw how frustrating that a serum messed with your skin.  I like having a few soothing masks for whenever I accidently do peels  back to back.

Okay I’m a bit behind on the masking posts.  Two nights ago I did the double and zero espresso recital ampoule mask thinking it was going to smell like espresso.  Nope.  Well, maaaaybeeee very very very subtlely.  The mask itself was thicker cotton and it wasn’t the best fit.  Combine all that with my disappointment in the scent and I removed it after ten minutes and tossed the package before taking a photo.  I do have a second one (which I pulled out to take a photo) that’s going in the pass on pile. ( D )

I’m doing the a pieu chocolate milk one pack today.  The serum is milky and the mask is thick and stiff. Meh.  I’m also confused as to why it smells like coconut (love coconut) and not chocolate. There’s a big difference between cocoa  and coco, lol.  It’s a filler mask for me.  Plumped my skin in prep for makeup and that’s about it.  (B)

I was so excited to see that espresso mask @heartsmyface, but then I read your review and now it’s gone back in the bin. 😂 Yeah, the scents on the A’Pieu Milk masks can be a bit of a let down. 😞 There are some that smell great, like the banana 🍌 milk one, but others either don’t have a scent or they don’t smell like what you’d expect.

@heartsmyface I kinda had the same feelings about the Chocolate Mask – it was ok, just not great. I was definitely hoping for a chocolate smell! 🍫

I own that Espresso mask and now that I know it doesn't even smell like espresso/coffee, I'm less excited to try it! 😂 I'm bummed to hear it was a let down!

@heartsmyfaceI agree that it's so disappointing when the scent doesn't match the expectations the packaging set us up with.  I would also probably be a bit disappointed when the serum on the Milk One Pack didn't look like chocolate milk.

I'd use that one even if there wasn't great results! Haha!

How disappointing that the espresso mask didn't have an espresso sent. That could have made it worth trying for me, LOL. Sorry that one ended up being lackluster and the A'pieu was just ok (and yet another missed opportunity on the scent), @heartsmyface!

@quspork  Yeah, I was sure it was going to be great!  Every other coffee mask I’ve tried has smelled fabulous!  I’m not on a good roll here.  I think I should go for aomethignsafe like a lemon mask tonight. They never forget to put the lemon scent in lemon masks.

Mediheal Line Friends I.P.I Lightmax Ampoule Mask

This is a thin cotton sheet mask with a little cartoon of a bunny's head on the left cheek. It was soaking with serum and had a light, clean and fresh scent. It felt well – just too long at the chin. I left it on for about a half hour. There was still some slightly tacky serum left on my face that absorbed on its own pretty quickly. My complexion looked clearer, my skin looked brighter and my face felt soft and smooth. The hydration from this was also excellent and long lasting. This was one that I'd definitely by more of and makes me curious to try some of the others from the line! This gets an A+ from me!

Masque*ology Watermelon Moisturizing Glow Sheet Mask 🍉

This is a thin, pink cotton sheet mask that was drenched in serum and had a refreshing and light watermelon scent.

It had a great fit – just too long at the chin. It also had pre-cut slits at the chin and eyes for better customization. I left it on for about 45 minutes and when I removed it there was still some serum left on my face that was just slightly tacky – but absorbed fairly quick on its own. My face looked noticeably brighter, felt soft and smooth and had a nice glow. It also had great hydration that seemed to last a long time. Being a mask I got at Walmart for $2.50, I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. I'll definitely be picking up more of these soon and give it an A+ grade!

SKINFOOD Black Sugar Wash-Off Mask 🍓

The very first thing I noticed about the mask when I opened it is that it smells amazing!! It seriously looks and smells like Strawberry jam! I actually did "accidentally" lick a little of it and it tasted pretty sweet! Haha! 

I scooped up a good amount and spread it all over my face, pressing lightly to exfoliate. The physical exfoliators in it (black sugar and strawberry seeds) weren't too abrasive for me at all, but that really depends on how hard you scrub. Since my face has been extremely dry lately, I just did a light massage.

I let it sit for about 15 minutes and enjoyed the wonderful scent the entire time! When I washed it off, my face was brighter, my complexion looked clearer and my skin was sooo soft and smooth! It did make me feel a little dry, so I moved on to the Watermelon sheet mask to help out with that, but this mask is definitely one I'll continue to use – I mean, who doesn't want to spread jam on their face!? 😂🍓This one is an A!

I really wasn't expecting much out of the Watermelon mask, but ended up pleasantly surprised 😉
