First of all @Shosh85, you're adorbs!! 💗 You're the fit model for the Neutrogena sheet mask, aren't you?!! It fits so well! 👍 That one is already on my list and now I'm adding TCS Neroli Oil mask to the list as well. Neroli can be too heavily fragranced for my liking but this one sounds like it might work.
@Shosh85I would have passed on the Neroli mask from TCS since the packaging looks like that of some of their masks I'm not crazy about. Good to hear a great review, I'll keep an eye out now!
I honestly never even thought to look at the Nutrogena masks either, but I'm going to be sure to next time I'm at a Walmart/drug store! I love that it's a two piece!
@missjeanie Yeah, the boring looking packaging and also not knowing at first what Neroli was, is pretty much why I wasn't excited about this one. Glad I finally decided to give it try! 😃
The Neutrogena Mask are great! My favorite ones have definitely been the Radiance Boost one and this Pink Grapefruit one. I'm also just a big fan of two-piece masks. 😉👍
Wow that two piece makes for an amazing fit @Shosh85! Don't you love when masks turn out better than expected. 🙂
@ShortErica Yup, I was definitely pleasantly surprised they both turned out so good! I'd been holding on to the Neroli one for a while and "N" week finally got me motivated to try it! 👍🤗
I love it when this group challenge gets me to try stuff I usually would put off. @Shosh85
Thank you, @faeriegirl!! They both really were so great! 🙌🤗
It's always nice when a mask is a pleasant surprise! I'm glad both of these worked out for you, @Shosh85!
@quspork These both worked out so great! I wasn't excited about using the Neroli one at all, and I think a lot of that had to do with boring packaging and not knowing what Neroli oil is. Haha! Come to find out that Neroli Oil actually has some great skincare benefits and it reminded me I shouldn't judge a book a by its cover when it comes to masking. 😉
❤️ those Neutrogena hydrogel masks @Shosh85! I never ever would have tried them if it weren't for your reviews. I frequent my local CVS a lot more now thanks to BIC, ha. The Crème Shop one sounds really good, I think neroli is often used in perfumes - just looked it up, yes it's from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. It has soothing properties apparently. Love that!
@eshoe All the Neutrogena masks are great! I don't think I've disliked any of them! I have back-ups of the ones in the blue/green packaging and I'm planning on getting back-ups of the ones in the pink packaging as well. 👌😉
After using The Creme Shop mask I looked up Neroli Oil too, and found that it had several skincare benefits. So, this is one I'll be repurchasing as well!
I was impressed with the benefits of neroli @Shosh85. I’m slightly more apt to believe stress-reduction claims with an ingredient that’s been around for awhile. Now that I know that, I also want to find a perfume I like that has it in it, to see if it helps keep me calm when I’m stressed, ha!
Tried the Pyunkang Yul Mask Pack - this brand overall seems really well loved on BIC and it's where I first heard about it! So when I first opened this mask I was super confused because there's no nose portion, just a small slit. However, that actually turned out to be amazing - I feel like masks never totally cover my nose and with having just the small opening instead of defined area the fit actually turned out to be amazing. I thought the hydrating sheet mask portion was nice it did an average job hydrating but nothing to write home about. Step 3 was super tacky and sticky - did not like. Overall I'd give it a B+.
Also tried Frudia Pore Control Reduce Sebum which not really in the challenge. Everyone was using blueberries and such recently so I felt like something fruity. I love love how this mask smells - it's very naturally grape/wine scented. Fit and serum amounts were nice and as a sheet mask goes I felt like it did a good job on pores. I'd give it an A.
@Kim888, I'm a big fan of the PKY essence toner 👍 and love using the sheet mask in this mask pack on top of the essence. I don't remember what I thought about the 3rd step in the mask pack (I may have skipped it the last time I used this one) but I have this mask pack in my sheet mask kit for my next trip so I'll be sure to have something on hand to combat the stickiness.
Sounds like I'll need to keep an eye out at TJ's for some of the Frudia masks @Kim888 ! Great catch!
NIce to hear about the Frudia, @Kim888. LIke some of the other ladies mentioned, I've seen these pop up and Marshall's and TJM a few times but have been wary about buying a whole pack from a brand I don't think I've tried before. I'll have to keep an eye out for them in the future!
@Kim888 I'm interested in the Pyunkang Yul mask, too - I like their essence, so it seems like this would be worth a try. Minus Step 3, don't see too many extra-tacky masks, that part does not sound appealing. I just saw a 10-pack of the Frudia at TJ Maxx, and it was on my radar after someone posted one on the Empties thread. Will keep an eye out for them again!
@Kim888 I see those Frudia masks at TJ Maxx all the time – I should definitely pick it up the next time I see it because it sounds great! The grape/wine scent sounds nice! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I have that Pyunkang Yul mask and am planning on using for "P" week! Too bad it wasn't anything too wowing. I'm never too excited for 3 step masks because I'm lazy and it seems more often than not, there's always at least one step that's not too great. That being said, I just might skip step 3. 😉Thanks for the heads up on this one! 🤗
