Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

@keana1 I am impressed your skin can handle exfoliation right after dermaplaning! I’m a little scared to try that, does it work better for you at cleaning your skin than doing it on separate days?

@eshoe I just want to make sure that I can benefit more from the peeling solution by dermaplaning before, but I make sure that I don’t cut myself. If I had a small cut or nick, I wouldn’t use any acids afterwards! It doesn’t change anything as far as cleaning is concerned. I clean before dermaplaning, pat my skin dry, then I exfoliate. I’ve never had any problems doing this. But if you’re hesitant, you should dermaplane on a different day and exfoliate a few days later. 😉

@keana1 I like the sound of the soothing treatment, I tend to keep soothing masks in stock for this very reason

I also have some soothing masks so I can use them if my skin is either very dry or after using a peeling solution @lmaster ! But I really enjoy using the Dr. Weil for Origins soothing lotion as a post-peel toner! It feels great and absorbs quickly when I pat it on. You might like the fragrance if you enjoy patchouli or herbal extracts. It doesn’t have a floral scent and I know that you enjoy florals.

I keep intending to pick up the Ordinary AHA/BHA.  How do you like it compared to the Babyfacial @keana1 ?  Or are they just different?

The TO is a bit stronger than the Babyfacial @missjeanie so you should leave it on for a shorter amount of time but since it’s a dark pink, you can see exactly where you put it on. It doesn’t contain any soothing ingredients so a little TLC is required after you rinse it off! If you’re not used to acids you should leave it on for about 5-10 minutes first and gradually increase the amount of time that you have it on. I don’t want you to have irritated skin afterwards! 😱

OH I Like the stronger @keana1 !  I never really found babyfacial to be too strong, I only got a little tingling every now and again.  I'll have to get on board and pick this one up to try!  I like that you can see it going on!

It feels sooooo good to finally put this one to bed. The Thank You Farmer Back to Relax Soothing Gel Mask was a frequent companion in my masking routine, reliable with a clean (think sheet mask) scent. I rated it a B; I don’t think I would repurchase because sometimes that scent was just a little much. My ideal soothing gel mask would be fruity. Or herbal. I would just love to take all my skincare scented like the YTTP Kale Cream!

The L’Herboflore Strawberry Glowing Hydromask looks so pretty and inviting; there doesn’t seem to be an abundance of strawberry-scented sheet masks so this had me curious. It’s different than the A’Pieu; this leans more artificial than milkshake. It’s not bad, quite sweet actually. It faded a couple of minutes after placing it on my face. The fit was decent, the serum was fine, too. It left a medium amount of tackiness, which I rinsed off since I could again detect the strawberry scent. I’ve been looking for some filler masks, and while this isn’t quite it, it’s fun and pretty. A B+ for this one.
