Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi

I'm so happy you reviewed this mask @IndyQT317! I saw it at Ulta the other day and debated whether to purchase it; I ended up putting it back because I was trying to be good with my mask purchases, but my low buy / no buy period will be over soon and I'm pretty sure this will be one of the masks I pick up. Love that it smells like grapefruit and gives you clear, brighter skin!

I understand the low/ no buy scenario. Yes, let us know when you try it. I was pleasantly suprised. Sometimes Neutrogena can be a bit harsh for oily prone skin. This was the best clay mask so far I've tried. Definitely stocking up for the summer months.

The last Oozoo mask for the week.

The Oozoo Aqua Capsule Shot Mask

This is sort of a two step mask. There are two pouches, one with a syringe ampoule and the other with the mask. You are supposed to inject the syringe into the mask pouch through a cap at the corner of the package, and then massage the package to insure everything is mixed well. The mask is thin cotton and drenched with serum. It has a difficult scent to describe, sort of a fresh and clean smell with a hint of rubbing alcohol. It wasn't too delightful, but it wasn't very strong, so it wasn't horrible either. This would be yet another mask I bought before I got into the habit of checking ingredients – alcohol denat comes 4th in the ingredients for the syringe serum and 6th for the mask. It had an ok fit – just a little too wide at the temples and too long at the chin. The extra length at the chin wouldn't stay tucked under at all, and I was constantly patting it back down. After about 15 minutes I took it off because it was just kinda getting annoying. When I removed it my complexion looked clearer and brighter. The little bit of serum that was left was maybe just slightly tacky, but everything absorbed very quickly. My skin felt soft and smooth, comfortably hydrated and had a nice glow. The hydration lasted for quite a while too.

I was expecting this mask to be a complete flop, but the results were actually pretty great! I probably wouldn't seek this one out again because of the smell, alcohol content and annoying fit, but if it happened to fall in my lap somehow, I may consider using it again. This one was a tough one to grade, but I think I'd give it a B-

@Shosh85 I have noticed that many Neogen and Oozoo masks do have some alcohol in them; not something I bothered inspecting when I first fell in love with them 😄 Surprisingly, like you noticed, they are fantastic for my skin! I felt the same way about this one, though, seems like the fit on this line (the Capsule Shot ones) isn't nearly as good as the Capsule or bears.

The packaging on this one would have had me purchasing for sure @Shosh85 .  I'll likely pass after hearing about all the alcohol.  While it's not a total deal breaker for me... I'll avoid too much if I can.   Looks like a fun one though!

@missjeanie If I had been more ingredient-aware at the time I wouldn't have bought it – but yes, it just looked so good! 🤷‍♀️ I try not to buy masks with alcohol, but I'm also not totally against using them. 😉

Last night I gave in to the stress of work/school/getting a new job and put everything aside to do some much needed masking!

My skin has been looking a little worse for wear lately.  A lack of masking, stress and nachos becoming a major food group are all a part of the problem.  I can't do anything about the stress, I won't do anything about the nachos... but the masking I can do!
I started off with the Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay.  I've tried this before and felt very 'meh' about it.  My skin needed a good clay masking though, and the texture I noticed after starting the DE APassioni hasn't gone away since stopping use, so I figured I'd roll with O week!  Like last time, it didn't wow me, but the scent that I dislike wasn't noticeable after the first two minutes.  I really should have headed to the shower to rinse this off though.  I thought I could detect some little granuals in the mask so massaging off with my hands would give some exfoliation.  It really just gave me a hella messy sink/vanity.
The Star of the nights show The Oozoo Fresh Capsule Mask in Rose Petal was a gift from , and I couldn't be more thankful!  This mask is a perfect mix of fun and effective.  I was surprised at how hard I needed to press to get the capsule to pop, and some of the rose bits kinda clogged up the little hole that I made, so after some fiddling I just opened the mask and peeled back the silver backing on the capsule and then massaged the serum in.  I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the scent of the mask.  I'm not huge into florals but this was very light, and it really did have a clean freshness to it.  The mask felt a bit thick, but it laid down nicely.  The eye holes were a tad small, but I adjusted them with a snip just like any other mask.  I really liked the milky serum on this guy, and it left my skin feeling great.  I can't say that it 'toned' much, but it felt great.  I had the mask on for about 40 minutes and the upper lip strip was completely dry at this point.  Extra serum sank in nicely.  I did have quite a shiny glow to my skin after checking it out in the mirror and if I was going out I'd need to put something over this for sure.  My skin looked nicely moisturized this morning so I sure as heck can't complain.  I really enjoyed this mask and will pick up the honey to try out next time I'm to a store along with another of the rose!
The laneige lip mask is something I'm trying to use up.  It's not a favourite, but it's not bad by any means.  Tonight it fit in with a pink theme. lol

Loved a group masking weekend! Can't wait for the next!

I love the color coordination! 💕 I tried the Origins Rose Mask and had the same "meh" feelings about it. I'm glad you enjoyed The Oozoo Rose! It is a top favorite along with the Honey one! 🌹🍯👌

@Shosh85I tried the Origins Charcoal today and had the same 'meh' feeling.  I think I've just found better mud masks lately? I'll still use them up... but I'm glad they're the small size. 

Nachos are non-negotiable for this gal lol
