Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

@missjeanie, rose in desserts is nice - rose and cardamom cupcakes! I don't know if I've ever had lavender ice cream @missjeanie @eshoe. *adds to list

This place up by my parent's makes lavender gelato in the spring @itsfi @missjeanie...it is amaaaaaazing:) I won't be there for Easter this year so I'm missing out! @missjeanie you are right, cardamom is underrated.

Your table summary is amazing @itsfi! Did you just start doing this type of review cause I really like the format? So succinct and easy to read. I believe I saw you and @faeriegirl give the honey oozoo the edge of the two, is that right?

@ShortErica, I've used the summary/chart style before in posts, for a few masks earlier this year and maybe in the original thread last year. The chart is basically how I keep my masking notes for myself on Excel, except that the one I post is flipped around in terms of layout from what my spreadsheet looks like (on Excel, my categories are listed at the top (instead of the side) and each mask has its own row, not column) - so I copy and paste when I post the chart. The categories change every so often; this is the current one I have, it's just a little bit different than the format I used last year.

@faeriegirl, the lip balm is nice, better for spring/summer. The brand makes a honey one as well, which I've already put on my list! 🙂

I decided to use this mask throughout the week. This pink clay mask was different for me and new to my collection. It will not be the last though. With Bentonite as the third ingredient I was sold. First and final impressions were the same. Wonderful pink grapefruit scent. Mask applied smoothly. Excess clay in the pouch so I also used for my neck. Two applications would work, but the pouch recommends single use. It took more than 10 minutes because I applied it thicker. No itchy or cracked dry feeling. Rinse off required more pressure because I applied it thicker. That was no fault of the product. My skin looked brighter and clear. Normally I would see a white cast from clay masking. There was none with this one. A rating. Only wish the packaging was a bit smaller. I had to cut the package quite a bit to get to the product.

Ah I would love to try this one, @IndyQT317, it sounds so nice with a pink grapefruit scent! Neutrogena makes some pretty good masks; I haven't heard of bentonite so now I need to go research;)
