Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@lmaster  It's too bad it not worth the price you paid for it, but I'm happy to hear it was pretty good for the most part! 

I must be super cheap, 'cause I don't even like paying $10 for a mask, especially when there are soooo many affordable masks that do an amazing job! 👍😉

Glad you liked it ok, minus the eye-burning of course, @lmaster. The price tag is a little too much for me for something that's not absolutely wowing, but it's good to know that it's nice cooling option.

@lmaster Luxury for sure!  I agree with @ShortErica, I find 24$ a mask a high buy in, but you did get results....For me these are masks I'd think more about getting with points so that I feel like I didn't pay for it?  Sounds like the results were awesome.... might need to keep this in mind for a points spree some time!

Wow @lmaster $24 for a mask is a big buy-in. I'm glad you were able to enjoy an intense cooling sensation and get some skin hydration. Now I'm curious how sheet mask prices are determined.

For this morning's masking, "P" is for Pearl. My luxe pick is the by Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm and my budget friendly love is the Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat Ultimate Hair Mask + Papaya Hair Mask (oooh, another “P")

The by Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm is great – really luxurious, both in terms of its price and its feel; this one is a nice one if you want to treat yourself. I’m glad there was a DS in a gwp bag from a while back. The Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat Ultimate Hair Mask + Papaya Hair Mask is all thanks to the fabulous @Shosh85  – thank you for introducing all of us to this amazingly scented and fantastic hair mask and for gifting this one to me – it’s wonderful and I never want to be without this mask. My hair thanks you, too! 🙂

I’m in meetings all day today and the start time is earlier than I would have chosen myself (ha!), so I went with Annie’s Way Pearl + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Mask. I found this mask pack at TJ Maxx before the holidays last year, I think. I haven’t see them since, but if I do, you better believe I’m going to grab them all! 🙂 The mask is a little too wide on the sides and at the bridge of the nose, but in general, other than that, this is a beautiful mask – adheres well, feels so soft – like you’re not even wearing a sheet mask, and the results are marvelous. I’ve used the hydrating one in the line and loved it. Same goes for this brightening one. My complexion looks fresh, awake, bright; and my skin feels hydrated. It’s still a bit too early for me this morning, but this mask is making my face looks ready for the long day ahead - I'm going to think about masking tonight if the day starts to feel long. 🙂

@Shosh85, the Garnier papaya hair mask is a huuuuge love! This one, the Amika Rx mask and the Briogeo are definitely tops in my book. I wouldn't have known how great this one is if it were not for you - thank you so much! 🙂
