Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

ha ha... I tried to explain BIC to him once.  "So you just talk to other people who shop at Sephora that you don't actually know?" Well when you put it like that... geeze dad lol.  He's not much of a digital world kinda guy, but he just goes with whatever we kids are into.  He's been such a champ sitting outside a Sephora with me shopping more than once!  We were out a few weeks ago for dinner in the states and I came out of TJ's with masks.  He asked what I'd gotten and when I said masks, he wondered if I hadn't just bought some the week before when we were out for dinner... yes, yes dad I did. Sure likes his fancy body wash and beard balm though! lol

It was hilarious @heartsmyface .  He was so confused why I would talk to friends online about Sephora instead of just doing it face to face.  I think he was boggled that so many women were so into beauty that they'd talk about it online.  lol... He thought I was the only one with an Sephora/Beauty shopping addiction! I once had to explain to him that a boyfriend at the time played video games every Sunday night with people he didn't know either.  Different generation? lol... now he's a part of a vintage car group!  "So like... you just talk to a bunch of dudes you don't know about cars?"  Poor Dad lol... our weekly dinners out in the States are always interesting! Last week he learned that I had zero clue how to change my own oil, but that I could book an appointment before our drinks came out without speaking to a single soul on an app!

@missjeanie  Well aren't you an adorable tiger! I love it! It's disappointing there are some Creme Shop Masks with a lot of alcohol – there are a couple I love too much to stop using though!

Im planning on buying that Glow Mud on my next Target run – it sounds so great and I've only ever heard positive things about it! Glad to hear you enjoy it! 😃

It’s a solid purchase for sure @Shosh85 ! I like it a lot better than the origins mud masks I’ve tried. Has my skin transformed to that of a 20 year old swimsuit model? No. But I’d repurchase this once I work through some of what I have on hand without a second thought. I look forward to hearing what you think of it!!

P is for Peter Thomas Roth. I think it also might fall into the Luxe theme too – it's discontinued now so it was hard to look up a price, but I think I remember them being on the pricier side when I saw them at Sephora.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle 24k Gold Intense Wrinkle Sheet Mask

This is a thick cotton sheet mask that had plenty of a light and watery, shimmery gold serum. There wasn't much of a scent – it was sort of in between a signature sheet mask scent and a fresh and clean one. It had an ok fit, just a little too wide at the temples and a little too long at the chin. The adherence wasn't the greatest due to the thickness of the mask and I had to repeatedly pat parts of the mask down that kept bubbling up. I had it on for about 20 minutes and when I removed it there was only a little bit of serum left on my face that wasn't sticky or tacky and absorbed very quickly. My face looked less dull and had a nice, lightly shimmery gold glow. The hydration was also great and stuck around for quite awhile. This mask claims to help with fine lines and wrinkles, but I didn't notice a difference with any of that – it did make my skin very soft and smooth though!

I wouldn't go through a lot of trouble to seek this one out, but I would use again if it happened to fall in my lap. I didn't like the thickness and fit of this mask, but loved the results, so I'd give this an A-

This one's been discontinued?? Boo!!! That's too bad @Shosh85! I'm not typically a fan of gold masks but the sheet mask version of this one is quite good. If it's been or is being discontinued, maybe there's hope that these may pop up at TJ Maxx / Marshalls / Winners?! How great would that be?! 🙂

Last nights mask was the Pumpkin mask from Saplaya.

This looked like a cute little mask.... then I opened it.  There was no scent to be had, something that may be a plus to others, I on the other hand was looking forward to it smelling like a pumpkin type beverage or baked good. I put the mask on and the fit was okay, but the serum was running everywhere.  My solution was to put a towel all around my head and lay down.  Not a deal breaker, my head felt cocooned and I didn't hate it.  I did however start to feel a little bit of stinging, maybe tingling.  It was light, so I wasn't really sure, but I could feel it.  Not tingling like hey an active is at work here, but more like a lot of tinsy tiny pinpricks that someone put vinegar into.  I kept the mask on... cause... I'm a sucker for punishment?-- it didn't really hurt, the sensation was quite light. 

Now I'm not one to discount a mask for a little thing, but I feel like the trifecta here (no scent, super drippy, stinging) was capped off with no effects.  My face looked exactly the same after using as it did before.  Thankfully no ill effects either though! This will not be a re-purchase.

Interesting @missjeanie, that's how the Papa Recipe kinda felt, too. I wonder if it was the pumpkin enzymes that were irritating your skin, yuck!
