Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

Catching up a couple of R masks from last week:

1. The Yadah Rose All Day Mask Pack (totally bought because of this thread)

I know these have been talked about several times so I won't go into a ton of detail other than to say that I was pretty happy with this mask overall. It was hydrating with a decent fit, plus pleasantly scented. I'd probably put this in my "filler" mask category, as it's definitely a good (cheaper) option for those nights when maybe I've already used a wash-off mask and just want that added little bit of extra hydration before moisturizing. 

2. Next up, AmorePacific's Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Mask

I do think that this is a nice sleeping pack, but it probably won't be a re-purchase for me. It has the usual AP scent, which I happen to adore, and goes on nicely over moisturizer. It dries down well with minimal tackiness and left my face feeling moisturized and plump in the a.m. The only reason I say that this wouldn't be a re-buy for me is that I feel it's much better suited to drier skin types. It's a bit heavy for my oilier skin. Even in the winter, I'm not sure that this one would be the best fit for me. But I don't want to deter, because it is a nice mask! I'd still give in an A-, just the caveat that I think drier skin types will prefer this one vs. oilier peeps. 

and 3. The Volition Turmeric Brightening Polish Mask (that has Radish Root Ferment Filtrate as an ingredient. Ok, yes, that's just a preservative, but dang it, we're making it work. Insert any Tim Gunn gif here.)

I've definitely been enjoying this mask! This one I might consider re-purchasing eventually, once the current stash of wash-off masks has died down. It's my favorite type of wash-off mask- a gentle exfoliator mixed with a couple of nice ingredients that leaves my skin feeling super soft, looking nice and bright, and ready for the rest of my routine. I actually think this would be a decent morning mask, as you only leave it on for a couple of minutes and get that nice glow going after you've rinsed it off. This mask is pretty scent-less to me and rinses off fairly easily. I'd definitely go with an A for this one.

Thanks for the review on the Amore Pacific mask! I think I may have a DS of this one! My skin is super dry, so it might work well for me!

The Volition mask sounds wonderful! Radish Root works just fine! Xanthan Gum May be a possibility for "X" week.

Living in the NYC metropolitan area, I have met many celebrities some approachable, some very standoffish. Tim was exactly like his Project Runway personality. I miss him greatly on the reboot.

 I like more contestants on the reboot than on the regular season. Sorry but I never was a Christian Seriano fan.

@quspork this has been on my loves list for awhile but I’m afraid of stockpiling too many exfoliating masks as I am prone to do! It sounds so nice though, how often do you use it?

Also, I must confess to the thread that anytime I see Yadah I say "Yadah yadah yadah" to the tune of Mario Bros. Maybe that's part of the reason I like it too. Reminds me of old school Nintendo. 🙂

@ShortErica I did grab a pack of the aloe along with the rose when I saw them at Marshall's not long ago, but I haven't tried one yet. I love aloe masks in the summer, so I'm sure I'll be using those very soon as our weather has already decided to skip spring.

LOL to the nintendo reference! We had my niece and nephew over this weekend and got to talking about mario kart, so my husband hooked up his old N64. Let's just say many comments were made about the quality of the graphics, haha. KIDS TODAY.

KIDS TODAY for sure! The Nintendo 64 graphics were loads better than Super Nintendo. What are their expectations..geez?! Though I think Super Nintendo might have been my favorite console. Pixels can be nice.
